    1. @Kevin Santich , Oh, you want cops held accountable for everything right? But it’s cool for you to commit crimes…

    2. @Jason Dixon Haha way to grasp at straws. Aren’t you guys supposed to be the party of “Law and Order” ? Why does that not apply to Police officers? Who were caught, on video, killing someone?

    3. @Jason Dixon no where did kevin say anything close to commiting crimes. Seriously go back to fox Neanderthal.

  1. FOIA request it. We don’t know the entire story, but if the video would have shown the cops doing the right thing I feel like they would have released the entire video and the Officers name. I’m guessing the body cam footage doesn’t match what they wrote in the police report.

    1. @bbop aloobop You keep mentioning the Bill of Rights but have you actually read it? It’s short. It protects the right to PEACEABLY Assemble. Not the right to throw balloons filled with feces, barricade exits and start fires, or loot businesses. This is transparently simple and obvious. STOP watching MSNBC. It’s making you dumber. Stay away from CNN to until you are older and wiser. You do realize that lockdowns that have lasted now for over a year violate nearly every aspect of the BoR? Right to assemble, free speech and religion. Unless your religion is BLM and rioting to fight “systemic racism”, something that is harder to point out then God is. Only idiots are left on the left these days.

  2. Every police officer, sheriff and chief with this case should be fired immediately. I knew when they took over a week to release any amount of footage. They edited this footage or planted something to make Anthony look bad.

    1. 🤦🏻‍♂️ in the video she said the judge has the authority to release the footage…he’s withholding from putting it public not the police

    1. @Cody Cha I would want to see the events leading up to the execution. We already know they shot him…but we dont know why….other than he ran away from them

    1. @gauley2001 this is not GTA 5 where every crime is punishable by 💀, by your own logic the sheriffs are criminals here and they should be shot too

  3. Forget hiring an attorney. Hire a audio and video specialist to authenticate the tape. Smells fishy.

  4. my guess is, that it isn’t the actions of the police being hidden with the use of redaction, it’s the words they were using before executing the arrest warrant.

  5. Only 20 seconds of footage released? It’s not rocket science. It’s another police cover up & very likely that the unedited/unabridged footage of the incident will expose something sinister.

    1. @Clyde Hawkins you’ve said this numerous times. It Wasnt clever Or funny the first time! GROW UP LITTLE BOY!!

    1. @Mister006 Sorry but I have compassion for innocent businesses and all the people murdered during the BLM riots… you are heartless and support violence. You are evil.

    2. Nope. North Carolina is nothing like Minnesota. A white North Carolina jury would not convict a police officer.

  6. Notice how when they are in the right they release the video ASAP like the 16 year old girl in Columbus OH. But notice how when they are in the wrong they stall and wait for months before they release the video.

    1. DIFFERENT STATE. DIFFERENT LAWS APPLY. YOU REALISE THERE ARE 50 STATES IN THIS COUNTRY CORRECT? SIMPLE CIVICS LESSON HERE. I AGREE IT SHOULD BE RELEASED BUT NO ITS CALLED A STATE LAW. THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA DOES NOT ALLOW ANY POLICE OR GOVERMENT OFFICIAL TO RELEASE THOSE VIDEOS AFTER UNTIL AFTER THE STATE GIVES THE OK. LOOK IT UP. THE STATUE IS THERE OR IS IT EASIER TO JUST GET ON THE TRAIN AND COMPLAIN WITH ZERO FACTS.

    1. @Geralt Rivia yup and it seems the police are able to get away with tampering with video evidence almost every time

    2. @Geralt Rivia wow Glad to read some comments in this thread… clarifies that comprehension is an issue- Relevant video still exists; if u want it for a criminal trial it’s unnecessary for the victims family but necessary to preserve due process & rule out mob justice & fear tactical Hopefully all the laws those legislators you voted for will go into effect with more stringent guidelines regarding releasing to the public any info regarding potential criminal liability. BTW… since it’s an obvious execution, why the family demanding an independent autopsy?

    3. @Left In Bama Could you go back to 6th grade English class and then try that again?
Also, I don’t vote for American laws; Congress does. Independent autopsies are normal following police shootings since Coroners generally work for law enforcement agencies and are biased in their favor.

    4. @Geralt Rivia independent autopsy to show he died of gunshot wound? My response was to the comment on the thread. Assumed you wouldn’t understand WHO votes in those that make the laws & w ur comment regarding tampering w evidence still feel 6th grade English was beyond ur reach

  7. The Sheriff knew from the very beginning his deputies f’*d up and he along with other officials are trying to cover up a murder. So much for transparency and accountability👎🏼

    1. So much for not jumping to conclusions like every other incident. This is probably a bad shooting but I’ll wait for the evidence like a normal sane person does 👍

  8. If the body cam footage could exonerate the officers it would have been released immediately. They call it “redacting the footage”, but they’re just cooking the books.
    This is a cover-up.

    1. Body cam HAS to be taken away from police control and the footage has to be uploaded to servers they can’t touch. They’ve proven over and over again they can’t be trusted.

    2. That can all be proven. It’s not so easy to just release the footage. There’s procedure.

    3. @FirstName LastName I know there’s a procedure, and I respect the rationale for following said procedure. But there seems to have been something else going on with this footage. It’s being claimed that the department has been dragging their feet on getting the required order from the judge, and once they finally got it they continued to drag their feet releasing it. Supposedly the redactions were completed yesterday, but when the family showed up at the scheduled time of 11am, they were told to wait because they needed to do the retractions, and weren’t let in for a few more hours.
Of course, this is just what I’ve been hearing on the street, and I understand there may be issues we’re not aware of yet that will explain the delay. As of now though, it’s all a bit sketchy. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Like in every situation, I hope everything is on the up and up, but there are valid reasons to be suspicious. 🤞
Thanks, FirstName LastName! I appreciate you reading my comment and for taking a moment to reply in such a respectful way. Unfortunately that’s rare these days, but like you it’s the way I choose to interact with people as well. Not everything has to be a fight. 👍✌️ Take care and be well, my friend!

    4. @Suzy Q I AGREE IT SHOULD BE RELEASED BUT NO ITS CALLED A STATE LAW.

  9. Innocent people dont hide the tapes, they dont wait weeks to release a most likely edited tape.

  10. First refused to show the footage, then only would release it on a judge’s order, then not release until the police could redact, now only 20 seconds is released? Totally not suspicious…

    1. The sheriff said all along that it was in the hands of the judge to release the footage and not up to him.

    2. It doesn’t mean that’s actually true though. Plenty of other incidents has had body cam footage released immediately.

    3. @Lindsey Stein these things are all different from state to state and even county to county. It will be released soon when a judge allows it from what I read. I’m sure with all the officers resigning that its going to be a bad video but the sheriff can’t release it and may not even have the video

    4. NC REQUIRES a court order to release bodycam footage, it’s stupid, but the legislature made that law a while back.

  11. the sheriff department is working with hollywood to edit the video because they are sweating right now 😓

    1. Hollywood is mostly liberal Democrat leftists who are anti-police. Why would they help the police? Your statement is nonsense. Being a genuinely well-informed citizen is not enough. Instead, you must learn to think critically and thoughtfully about complex ideas. You can’t vote or speak intelligently about issues without the ability to think clearly.

  12. Courage, Pride, Honesty, and Love ..Must prevail! ..if we are to recover and heal, from ..Our Broken Society! My Prayers and condolences go out to Mr. Brown, his family and loved ones, during their time of grief and mourning.
And, may God grant us the wisdom and discernment, to get it right, this time! Hope, may be all we have, but its’ enough, ..to let God in! ♥️🙏🏼🇺🇸
