  1. There was already an “enormous amount of stimulus” says that twisted witch from the Economist. Yes, there was: for corporations, for billionaires, for the entitled and privileged, yes there was “an enormous amount of stimulus” as @#$%ing usual. Meanwhile, poor people are getting screwed, as usual.

    1. Trump gave $1.3 trillion dollars to corporations and billionaires and nobody blinked an eye, but try to help out working people and suddenly it’s a problem. America is a failed state.

    2. The Economist is that sort of British right wing that is sometimes very smart and sometimes VERY out of touch. They also fuss about the “Buy American” stuff that Biden is doing, while admitting it’s going to be a good short-term push for us.

  2. Ever heard an economist say more $ for corporations is bad for the economy but more $ to you can be THINK ABOUT IT

    1. rump and republicans ran up the federal deficit for 4 years to over 1.1 trillion before the pandemic with their annual trillion dollars giveaway to very profitable multinational corporations. Did we forget about the corporate tax cut of 14%??

    2. @Genesis Omega mmm no , Florida didn’t , Sweden didnt , the states and countries who had minimal restrictions were no more badly effected that the ones that did .

    1. rump and republicans ran up the federal deficit for 4 years to over 1.1 trillion before the pandemic with their annual trillion dollars giveaway to very profitable multinational corporations. Did we forget about the corporate tax cut of 14%??

    1. I paid more in taxes last year than Trump paid in the last 5 years. I’m not a “billionaire” like Trump I actually work for a living.

    2. @Parker Ripley I find it amazing how dumb and gullible people can be when they put on a ridiculous looking red hat. Surprised he wasn’t selling them bridges.

    3. @Sharon Azevedo rump was the biggest snake oil salesmen in presidential history. Really sad what people are willing to believe.

  3. It’s easier to hit the brakes on inflation than to give gas to fix a recession. Republicans want to run on vapors to slow the recovery and make Biden look bad.

    1. how does that feel.. knowing the dems did nothing but make up scams to pin a fake crime on prez trump.. now you cry

  4. Right. Spend all the money on infrastructure. People who have lost their jobs and can’t afford their bills will then have a fancy new bridge that they can live under.

    1. Sigh – The idea is that the people who’ve lost their jobs will be employed by these projects. Franklin Roosevelt created the New Deal which did exactly that, put unemployed men to work on these huge infrastructure projects.

  5. With the whole planet in dire straits–except New Zealand–who are we borrowing this money from? We are supposed to be the richest country on earth–why don’t we have our own money?

  6. Meanwhile, Ted Cruz is going on a Cancun vacation while the state of Texas has no power, no water, and food shortages.

C’mon Texas, y’all can do better.

  7. Keep distributing cash relief even after the pandemic dies down! Implement a value added tax on the super rich to avoid any risk of inflation!
This is not rocket science, the research on regular cash relief is solid!
