  1. The left: “Defund the police!

The left months later: “WhErE did aLL dA PoLICe gO!?”

    🤦‍♂️

    1. @_Red_Panda_ are you suffering from vaccine reactions or are you just completely oblivious to the reality of democrat city violence?

    2. @Dakota the plumber yet why don’t u blame the people who made these laws? The police need their jobs like everyone else does so telling them not to enforce the law is not doing their job.

  2. Why don’t you all talk about the pink elephant in the room? “Defund the police” “No Justice,No Peace”. What is the purpose of being a cop when who you arrest is out the same day and BLM can show up and complain about a cracked fingernail.

    1. Cracked fingernails on dead bodies, you mean. Who am I kidding, you didn’t say what you said in good faith.

  3. CNN,,,,,’These mostly peaceful protests,,,,,,’ as a building burns down in the background. 😆

  4. I work in a department store in North Carolina. Today we had a pregnant woman with blood pressure issues collapse, after several calls to 911, it took over 30 minutes for a lethargic team to respond…. Mind you the fire department is only 4 minutes away. Once we called after 17 minutes of waiting, the only response we got was “they are in route.” We asked where the team was coming from, and they said they didn’t know, but it could possibly be a surrounding county…. What in the world is going on!?!

    1. @Sugar Xyler blue eyed Cherokee exactly sugar from an ex paramedic in Australia. Most people are not smart at all and has this self entitlement attitude. We were always busy bust mostly time wasters

  5. Same thing with EMS!

Across the country, sirens are going silent. EMS crews are taking longer to get to calls. Locally, some people have complained about waiting more than an hour for an ambulance; KDKA’s Chris Hoffman reports.

    1. @Scott Wilson here in Alabama an EMT will make $14-$18 an hour. Hardly a good income for the level of training. Others in this thread are spot on. It’s a pay issue pure and simple.

  6. Realistically I’m from the hood never needed a cop never wanted a cop to help with anything so for me this is like Christmas😂😂😂

    1. Same and still live in the hood, I got my own guns, military training, medical training and police training, people can take responsibility for themselves.

  7. Better defend those police! And elect progressive prosecutors who don’t prosecute crime and set criminals free! What could go wrong?

    1. I used to support law enforcement as part of the MAGA movement, but I later realized it was a mistake,. Police and Liberties are not in the same side, I believe a better way to live enjoying our liberties and at the same time reduce crime is to reduce the police….and pass nationwide Constitutional carry. The Police is worthless…their job is not to protect and serve people , but to enforce unconstitutional laws that send law abiding citizens to jail while avoiding to confront criminals. Self protection is a personal responsibility and we don’t need a bunch of tyrants bossing around and interfering with our liberties.

  8. Yes, Defund the police, then make it hard for Americans to defend themselves. Then tell them to rely on the police to protect us we don’t need 2A

  9. So you wanted to defund the police, many Democrat cities did, and now a LOT of those same cities are having law enforcement shortages and crime spikes.
Seriously? You have the audacity to complain about issues you caused?

  10. For years they worked public safety to the breaking point. Leadership always laughed at complaints about low pay, long hours, and little or no workplace protections. Areas with non-unionized public safety have shocking work conditions despite claiming to be pro-public safety. In Alabama for instance police are exempt from FLSA and OSHA. Being exempt from OSHA (or supplemental state regulations) means you might process a meth lab with no PPE and be fired if you refuse and not be eligible for unemployment for an example. Most agencies pay a salary but talk about hourly pay. You will usually work around 50 hours a week and many departments have mandatory OT. After you deduct State Retirement, State BC/BS insurance, and taxes you will bring home around $2100-$2400 a month and work 50-70 hours a week to earn it. Throw in the fact that if you are killed in the line of duty but not tenured (takes 10 years of service) your family gets no retirement. Why would anyone do these jobs. They take advantage of the hard work, dedication, and patriotism of these young people that go into these jobs to serve. The average Law Enforcement career is around 5 years. Senior leaders and politicians like this because it means lower payrolls, higher number of employees paying into retirement system and lower numbers being paid out. Some areas of the country are much better than others. I did it for 12 years then had a massive heart attack and could no longer do that job. It’s pointless to ask senior leaders what the problem is because they are the problems. These conditions existed 20 years ago and nothing has changed. What changed is young people are not willing to put up with those conditions anymore. The kids are a lot smarter than I was. It’s a pay and benefits issue.

  11. Where are all the community outreach members? I thought they could handle these guys by talking to them.

  12. The lack of respect for the laws and the officers who enforce the law is part of the problem! But, if these cities have defunded their police forces, the money is not available to entice anyone to come join the forces!

  13. Really? I don’t see why. My local police force is starting at 16 an hour. Thats three dollars less than starting at Amazon down the street, but you never get shot at…

  14. There’s never a shortage of cops to arrest you for a victimless crime of drug possession or getting beat by your wife. There’s always 10 or so at the scene to arrest you for deciding what you ingest into your own body.

  15. Police Shortage??? Defunding Police, treating them like dirt and making them into villains has consequences.
