Not that Jamaica shouldn’t be investing in schools but… why not try to invest in the ones we already have… instead of going out and creating yet another school? As is, people aren’t having kids as before and to add to that, even after a subset of a subset gets formal training and graduate from universities and technical training schools, there are no jobs so they leave… see a pattern?
I had the same thought. Will there even be enough teachers to staff the school with the reports of how many are leaving?
@Latoya T Miss Diva Supplies there is a section on English exams called comprehension. It sharpens deductive skills and reasoning. Don’t make your lack of comprehension skills everybody else’s problem. Start reading more little miss. It will help.

– you have 1 school with 1 class of 50 students
– the next year there are now 2 schools – and now only 40 students (since as you’ve said less babies are being born)
The Question:
are you implying that if there are more schools and less children the children would not benefit from having smaller classroom sizes at separate institutions??
Are you telling me that a criminal like Blackman who ordered so many murders is not guilty? Heaven help, Sykes!!

Everything is expensive in Jamaica, the minimum rate is a joke, I don’t know how people manage back home. Yet our politicians are, most of them, are very comfortable with the situation.
Thank you Julian for speaking up for poor people, cost of living is high we can do without a bus fare rise. Plus there needs to be a better customer service.

Said it from the start of the trial, that judge needs to placed out to pasture. He’s out of touch with the new laws. How can you have Miller doing life for half of the crime and the man doing the actual killing has been found not guilty twice?? Makes no sense. Now those two witnesses and their families are doomed. Don’t get this.

Jamaica should be ashamed of there justice system every criminals setting free even when the judge know that they are guilty 😭😭this is why the crime rate going sky high cause other criminals see how the justice system works so they don’t care
this trial should be a one judge ,should be a panel of three Judges
The JUTC deserves a fare increase but not before improving their service. The more urgent issue concerns affordability on the part of commuters.
