I have always liked Chris Wallace, and especially his father…60 min. glory days. But he has to up his game. The questions at the end got really silly, and honestly, right down stupid.
I said the same thing. A little beneath his caliber.

Nah, Wallace has always done this and made it a bit more light and personal in the end of an interview. Many journalists do that. Some like it, some don’t.
Many of us live long enough for our mistakes to catch up to us. I guess that’s why many quit while they are young. And many of us live long enough to continue to be in denial about ever having made a mistake ever. And many stop playing the game and own up to reality. Alex sounds like the latter, but he could also just be pretending. shrug
He was a cheat
@Richard Reese And?
@thebuccaneersden canβt be trusted , flawed character
@Richard Reese we are all flawed including you. But someone elseβs personal love life is not something of yours to make such judgements about
@thebuccaneersden wasnβt talking about his personal life, I was taking about professional, he took steroids the years he won his MVPβs
I can’t take him seriously when he’s on CNN. π€‘
what if he’s on tucker?

Society is very unforgiving but if you rebuild your character you can start a new life and help others.

Just remember the best player might not be the best communicator. There was real radio talent talking people through the game, they created pictures with words and fueled emotion with inflection of their voices. Conveying that kind of passion is a talent and a skill.

Asking Arod what can be done to restore baseball’s popularity is like asking John Dillinger what can be done to help banks do better business. His cheating contributed to the decline in baseball’s popularity
I would say the biggest decline is caused by going woke.
I love it when people filter their true thoughts when asked this question.

Bring back This Week in Baseball!
How about that!?!?
Asking Arod what can be done to restore baseball’s popularity is like asking John Dillinger what can be done to help banks do better business. His cheating contributed to the decline in baseball’s popularity
Such a bad take. Baseball was at its peak with roided up Sosa going up against roided up Aguirre for the home run crown. Fans donβt care about roids. They want action and baseball is lacking in that department.
You could say that last questions came out of left field π€ͺπ

Am I the only one still surprised when I see Chris Wallace on CNN? No matter the company or the person being interviewed we can always count on him asking questions that are uncomfortable to say the least.

Ohhhh Alex, as much as I hated you as a Yankees player, you made the game of baseball entertaining. That’s what is missing from today’s MLB: real rivalries, real professional hitters/pitchers, and drama. Baseball is nothing without drama.
This is just my opinion of him but every interview I watch he seems to try so hard to be genuine and honest but in reality he just isnβt.
People’s attention spans are shorter than they ever have been and for obvious reasons. Next time you’re at a game, look how many people are playing on their phones during the game. I challenge Alex on the point that baseball will be around in 200 years, it could end up being like horse racing that is really just trying in terms of people’s interest or too slow to hold it. Don’t get me wrong- part of me likes the fact that I can put a ball game on the TV while I am messing around in my garage or grilling dinner and don’t have to hold on to every waking second of it, but the last time I was at a game a year ago, it seemed like between fowl balls, batter/pitcher theatrics, throws /looks to the runner on first- every batter was there for 5 minutes. Glad to hear it was not my imagination according to this, the games have gotten longer.
when VARITEK DENTED UP HIS FACE!!!!
