Alex Murdaugh was sentenced to life in prison for the 2021 murders of his wife and son in South Carolina.

Former South Carolina attorney Richard "Alex" Murdaugh was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences Friday after being convicted of murder in the deaths of his wife and son.
Maggie Murdaugh, 52, and Paul Murdaugh, 22, were killed near dog kennels at the family's home in June 2021. After listening to more than five weeks of testimony from over 75 witnesses — including Murdaugh himself — and visiting the crime scene, the jury took less than three hours Thursday to find Murdaugh, 54, guilty of two counts of murder and two counts of possession of a weapon in the commitment of a violent crime.

Monster
sorry alex but the jury didn’t agree with you!
Smart judge
This really scares me to know that without solid proof and physical evidence you can get convicted anyways
@Marvelous_LXVII he lied and said he did not go out to the kennels with his family. He did it. Thank goodness there was video from Paul.
A world where circumstantial evidence that proves one guilty of murder beyond a reasonable doubt is not enough to convict would scare me.
@Marvelous_LXVII Just like OJ Simpson did, huh and now walking among us and even running his murderous mouth about this case…
Guilty for sure.
Love this judge 🥰
I just watched the series the other day wow
Where can I watch it?
@Nikki News Netflix. Just finished watching it
He’s just mad now, no tears.
Always the litigator
Notice how the officer behind him had a “yeah right” look,😒 and then shakes his head all while still trying to contain his composure.@ 1:25
Yeah he looked pretty disgusted throughout. How those police must have felt being lied to all those months, so sure and angelic and cocky bc of who he was! Ug!
Once a lawyer, always a lawyer.
Paw paw 🤦
Well and maybe the jury got it completely wrong ..let other things cloud their judgement
tense exchange? y’all soft
After he told the judge he was innocent, he asked his lawyer if he should sit down. Good practice. Where he is going he needs to get used to asking permission before doing anything. No more Big Shot!
Netflix will be on fire next season.
This historic a black Judge give a prominent family time
unbelievable. This is a reality Show. It’s private own prison and public own prison. He say he didn’t do he didn’t do. What do y’all get out this. 40 acres and mule and a watermelon. He helped alot of people and some people didn’t get paid just like the record company. Got a key to back door. What if it was you? Just think about it. He didn’t do it.🙏🙏🏾🙏🏿👁🍉
