😥🙏💔
in Evansburg my fil built 7 homes. Every single one is os burnt. His kids and grandkids are devastated. Just broken hearted. We are so thankful for the local farmers and firecrew for doing everything they could to fight these fires. And we are even more grateful for no loss of life. But we still grieve. So heartbroken. 💔😢💔😢🙏🌧️🌧️

Hi, I’m from Edson. Sending love and light. I’m so sorry for everyone affected by this tragedy. We evacuated Friday. The experience has been overwhelming. Praying for everyone affected. 🙏♥️🙏
The solution isn’t 63 firefighters. The solution is controlled burns, which are not kept up to date. These fires could have been prevented from getting out of control in some instances.
like what happened when half of Australia burned. Prevention!!
Is highway 16 open from Hinton to Edmonton?
Its open to Edson…better check East of Edson. I believe there’s a stretch near wildwood that may be still closed
Check the 411 app. It’s very helpful for road closures
How are all of these fires even starting? I haven’t heard of any lightning, it almost seems as though all of these fires have been ignited as designed IMO
Directed energy weapons?
Sun + dead trees/plants 🤷♀️
Main causes: cigarette buds, camp fires, burning garbage, reflections from glass and polished surfaces and ATVs or dirt bikes without spark arrestors. Diesel tractors with hot soot breaking off the exhaust. It only takes one irresponsible person that think they have it under control and there she goes.
makes you wonder why HAARP can’t step in to help.
Anyone else think prevention of these fires through thermal goggled a.I. Drones? Like upgrade rangers?
I don’t know much, but how horrifying. Glad to see a relief?
There’s a need to push trees and build berms around communities and homes in possible forest fire danger zones faster and really it should be done when there is no immediate threat. In 2016 the fire was burning for many days a long way from Ft McMurray and yet we were only meeting the big bulldozers coming up as we were driving away in the Evacuation. There was ample time to bulldoze a safe zone southwest of the city before the fire got close enough to be a threat.
I find it interesting she has praise for the former Liberal federal minister.
She doesn’t have a clue what’s going on….
Interesting this has happened during an election
Sending hope and care to everyone ❤
JT said he was bringing the smokes
Distances between alberta and Vancouver’s island is larger then florida’s girth😂
the price of lumber will go up soon. houses will be more expensive in the near future
everyone please stay safe. 🙂
🙏🙏🙏
Why not keep undergrowth to a minimum? It’s pretty, but it’s fodder for annual or seasonal fires. That’s why Australians were burned out a few years ago. They stopped burning the undergrowth out.
You don’t know what you are talking about
There seem to be fires every year now BC and Alberta. Why is it? Going from cold winter temperatures to hot weather is not unusual in spring there. It often happens in many years. So, why these fires every year? Sorry. Just wondering.
Can we make it more preventative and take measures proactively as expense to patrol & control any potential fire is way less than put it off when it gets larger
Screw any provincial jurisdiction, there should be a massive and immediate national and if needed international response to quickly and safely extinguish these fires. These massive environmental disasters should not go on for days or even weeks they should be dealt with immediately.
Thank you fire fighters. ❤😇🤗
Cause of all the fires?
