On the 50th anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, demonstrators rallied for abortion rights protections across the country Sunday, led by a national demonstration in Madison, Wisconsin – a location reflecting the shift in focus on reproductive rights at the state level.

Abortion rights activists have marched on Jan. 22, called Roe v. Wade Day, each year since 1973, when the Supreme Court decision first granted federal protections for abortion rights. But Sunday, activists are also mourning the ruling after it was overturned last year.

  1. That’s exactly where is should be decided…on a State level. Quit whining about it…and vote your conscience💯

    1. @Gabbey Smith
Watched a (Jimmy Skinner documentry) about actress Joan Crawford.

There’s information about the adoption system in the United States of America.

    2. @Diana Hill she was brutal. Didn’t even leave the kids anything even though she adopted them. She did it for the publicity.

  2. My vote helped bring reproductive freedom to Michigan. I believe that humans evolved from animals and that the fetus is more animal than human for many months. People should be taught how to prevent an unwanted pregnancy, but the Catholic Church, and other religious groups, forbid the use of contraceptives, which suggests that they are against educating people or helping them to prevent unwanted pregnancy.

    1. This isn’t 1523, this is 2023 and these idiot women who don’t know how to prevent a pregnancy in this time and age is disgraceful. What you are doing is defending gross ignorance.

    2. What you just said is actual unscientific nonsense. “Progeny anticipates phylogeny” theory has been debunked for several decades now.

  3. Our bodies, our choice…. and they chose not to use contraception… and, that’s where their power, to NOT conceive and give birth to a child, ended.

  4. Matt Gaetz is right. All the people protesting for abortion look like thumbs and don’t need to worry about getting pregnant.

  5. Tired of seeing these broadway shows. Most of the protesters are paid to be there and couldn’t care less either way. Political marches have become more showcased than truth.

  6. She could depopulate in other ways, such as not letting hundreds of thousands of people into our country every day.

  7. There’s only certain times in history where the people sacrificed their children, and their civilization always ends in total destruction..
