Schiff Nadler said rock solid case without a shadow of a doubt. That means the senate only had to judge there evidence they tried to game the Senate. JBE as I said….John Bolton is a war hawk and frankly a Nationalist like Trump. I am not saying he is a good guy. House majority felt like their authority superseded the Constitutional rights of those they tried to subpoena. It was a clear abuse of power on their part.
@andrew the courts are still determining the outcome of the Don Mcgahn subpoena almost a year later. no way could we wait that long for the courts to do the same for Bolton. Republicans freaked out when Nancy held the articles for a few weeks, waiting for another year was out of the question.

Bolton really wasn’t trying to come out. He just wanted to announce his book.
Who did he send a “courtesy copy” of the manuscript to? I believe he only “claimed” to testify, but where did he claim to be willing to testify? He knew they were not going to ask the day of the week, let alone anything else.
John Bolton was part of the sham and the GOP is a part of his campaign for his book sales.

The republicans listened to the testimony of 13 witnesses from the house hearings. All second hand, opinionated testimony. They saw no need to hear the same thing all over again. Trump broke no laws. This was about the Dems wanting to win the 2020 election. If a person’s hate for Trump is so strong that they’re willing to go along with a lie, they really aren’t too worried about the rule of law and right or wrong.
I am appalled at how disgusting it is that John Bolton made the decision to keep the truth for himself. We should not buy his book. Too late for the truth, miser!
I cancelled my book pre-order for Bolton’s book. I’m sure there will be of information coming out without me putting money in his pocket .
