She surprises me, sometimes, but I’m still not happy with the way the Supreme Court seats were filled. Delaying filling a seat for over a year was dirty politics.
FORTUNATELY MITCH MCCONNELL THE SELF-DESCRIBED GRIM REAPER WILL SEE THE REAL GRIM REAPER IN A FEW YEARS!! LORD KNOWS HE’S BEEN HERE TOO LONG AS IS!!✌😂
@Laser Hobbyist why do you people always have to be so nasty?
@SNOOP SNOOP COLEMAN #1 I agree, Term Limits. Pelosi, Schumer, Sanders, HC. There all in there 70s and 80s. I mean, dam!
@Guitars rcool we all knew that before the book came out, what you state is NOT true go look it up, well you still haven’t proved crap about destructibe dems.
the agreemnent the DNC had was well before the primary’s and it would NOT have affected Sanders
Forcing people to participate in a medical experiment .. when they are at negligible risk of serous injury or death … is utterly insane.
Medically .. legally … and from any other angle you care to take.
The worst part? The CDC data is lagging and the canary in the coal mine is Israel. Israel tracked efficacy against symptomatic infection and found drastically waning efficacy. If you got your second shot in April then it is still 79% effective. If you got your second dose in January .. the efficacy DROPS TO 16% against symptomatic infection.
Now … we are going to hurriedly jab more pregnant women, younger kids, and college students.
Still down for this mandate?

When will the CDC “catch up” with their data?
Lack of Informed consent an issue.
It’s simple: if your house is on fire, you don’t go on YouTube, you call the damn fire department. If you have a heart attack, you don’t check your Facebook group, you call an ambulance. If 9 doctors tell you you have cancer and need to treat it or you will die, and one doctor says the cancer will disappear, you should always side with the 9. Arnold Schwarzenegger
If you have a cancer with a 99% survival rate do you opt for chemo and radiation? I will never understand the left.
@hangender while “they” are whining on you tube, 6000+ firefighters are doing their job so hush.
@Joseph McNaughton what cancer has a 99% survival rate without treatment? I will never understand the fantasy world that the right lives in
@crovax 13 The comment obviously went over your educated head. COVID-19 is not a cancer it is a virus that has a 99% survival rate. Why do you leave your life in fear?
@Joseph McNaughton why do you live in a fantasy world where you dismiss the lives lost in a pandimic by framing it with a 99% survival rate? Also I don’t live in fear, because I got the damn vaccine.
Barrett’s ruling won’t cure stupidity, but it’s a step in the right direction.
Haha Nicely said.
@Tyeler Nowell That world is getting smaller as more morons die off.
Johhny English – True, but ACB is the favorite conservative judge of the religious wackos. Maybe they’ll listen to her since they don’t give a f*** about doctors and scientists
The Indiana University mandate allowed exceptions for religious and medical reasons; two lower courts had already ruled in favor of IU’s mandate; it’s a conservative justice ruling in favor of rights for such entities and private business to restrict access; and no Supreme Court justice is going to want to be held responsible for hundreds of thousands of preventable Covid-19 deaths. So, it’s really not all that surprising that Amy “Covid” Barrett denied the request, upholding the decision of lower courts.
Let’s just be thankful Toobin didn’t whip his hammer out
I’m still deeply disturbed by some of Barrett’s ideas, but I do love it when one of Trump’s appointees does something the Orange Menace will hate.
Sensible result from an imbalanced supreme court. Still it’s a RT Wing appendage of a political party.
an “alt left” political appendage would be better? 2 sides of the same damn coin.
@James Montgomery the point is “imbalanced”, 5th word, top row.
I had watched a couple of videos of her speaking at various conferences, etc. prior to being nominated to the USSC, I found myself feeling comfortable that she would put her personal preferences aside and interpret the Constitution to the best of her ability. I’m not surprised by this action. Furthermore I think when placed in a position of such awesome responsibility an honest competent member of the court will most likely act as she has, Roberts is another example of a privately conservative citizen yet a fair and centered Justice.
She’s a loaded gun waiting for the right target. This waiting is giving her credibility she’ll later exploit.
Wait until she has to decide on an abortion issue
This isn’t something she personally cares about. When we get to roe v wade she will prove she is utter trash
Am happy to hear Jeffrey Toobins’ analysis again.
🧴
Agreed. His constitutional legal acumen was missed.
Reminds me of the days when Republicans had a brain.
@Lorna Callwood lol you realize there were no Republicans in 1801?
@KadiusBlack
Clearly, the parties had switched sides by the 50’s. It’s ludicrous to call them the party of Lincoln now. At this point, they would unquestionable be the party of John Wilkes Booth.
I only remember James baker as being a smart republican.
@James Hallgring you get no argument from me man. I agree.
Coming from some who voted for a demented racist woman hair sniffing potato head makes your post sound silly
Good for her. 👏. Glad to know the justices Dump and his fellow the Republikkkans installed in the Supreme Court aren’t returning the favor. 😊👌
A prolife woman making a prolife decision. I like to see at least one person stand by her decisions
She decided correctly. Surprising.
I’ve been amazed at the hypocrisy of the pro life people. All they have to do to protect children in their communities is to take a shot. Instead they would rather harm and kill children because of their own selfishness. Maybe we should start calling the anti-vaxxers “baby killers”
@Jim Farmer We should call them religious hypocrites. They only stand up for the rights of the pre born. Once you’re born, they don’t care.It should be the other way around.
I’m Republican. I’m Pro life. I’m pro birth control etc. I’m also pro vaccine. You can’t be “pro-life” and be against life saving vaccines. Get vaccinated, folks!
Nice! She’s doing something good, a little goes a long way. 👍
Shes made a couple of decent decisions. I expected her to be cuku right out the gate. But she hasn’t been, yet. So I’m glad she was objective on this.
I was expecting a MTG type out the gate too. Glad she’s proven me a little wrong. I still think she’s like MTG, but actually taking her meds.
Have to admit I agree. Despite her personal history her decisions thus far have been mostly, if not entirely, sound.
You can be a Conservative without being a fruitloop.
How?
Donald dunce corrupted them except Liz Cheney and mitt Romney the gop is to chicken 🐓 of Trumps childish ridiculing and name calling.
@Stijn 3 statements like yours make you part of the problem. there are dingbats on both sides, just as there are very well reasoned opinions that deserve consideration
Meh. When you still vote for politicians who have turned themselves into fruit loops to pander to the fruit loop base, all after years of building science denial which may literally end civilization, you’re not much better.
@Nucumber no, I disagree. The problem is that there is less than a handfull of Republican senators and congressmen speaking out on the side of reality. The rest are just either f’ing nuts or liers. Thing is, a few good apples do NOT stop a rotting bunch.
its about time that someone in this dysfunctional gov. showed some amount of sanity.
Well done Justice Amy Coney Barrett, thank God. Three educators in Florida in the last 24-hours have died of covid-19
Wooooo, GQP and Trumpety-trump must be crazy mad. ‘His’ justice just betrayed him.
Multiple times already 😀
Conclusion of this: Even stoopid people can make it to university.
It’s Indiana so hardly surprising
Just look who is the governor of Florida. A graduate of Yale and Harvard.
She did the right thing…saving lives from the pandemic is the right thing to do ..Bravo Madam Barrett !
pretty much as toobin said, there’s no controversy about vaccine mandates. schools have required vaccines for many decades, backed by century old case law.
I’m so glad to see that American justice system has some true Patriots. At least the Republican Judges have integrity. 68 election cases thrown due to no evidence and now this.
