    1. @Liam Andreassen So what you are saying are is your founding fathers were a bunch of mentally deficienct simpletons?

    2. @TRAITOR JOE’S Poor children are white too. What you meant to say was poor children can be just as smart as rich children.

  1. Smart kids will use the internet wisely while others will just waste time on conspiracies. Very little will change, a smart kid won’t turn dumb skipping a year, keep ’em safe😷

    1. “Keep em safe” yeah keep them safe from these satanic twats who get on camera and lie every day. They all tap dance for sheckles.

  2. You can look at the comments section of most YouTube videos and realize how unfathomably stupid America is already

    1. Yeah. Especially when you have commenters who don’t realize YouTube comment sections aren’t limited to just America.

Also, they don’t know sentences end with certain punctuation.

    2. What is particularly striking is that soooooo many Americans are apparently quite unable to look at information and assess the probability that it is right or wrong . They seem to simply accept what they are told.
      Example 1
Endless nonsense about how the CCP is running : America, the government, big business, the media etc. no evidence of any kind is ever offered.
      Example 2.
Biden et al will render America into a communist state within a year. Pure conspiracy theory, where the average American cannot define Communism and or differentiate between Communism and Fascism.
      Example 3.
That Obama and soon Biden have sold American manufacturing to the Chinese. Seemingly unaware that something like 75% of the stock in any Walmart is Chinese because Americans readily buy Chinese stuff.

      Etc.

    1. We all are looking really stupid, somehow in this once former free country. Totalitarianism is taking hold. They are already burning the books…

    2. @Kelley Lolley the dumbest states are republican run (read: the south) and republican supported. Cant fund education when you’re funding wars, prisons, and politicians 🤷🏻‍♀️

    3. @Kelley Lolley I went to school in the south. It’s the right wing that has had us learning lies for decades. Conservatives don’t want an enlightened society bc smart ppl don’t vote for anti social safety net (welfare state) every Scandinavian country is better than us.

    1. in most places and at most times – yes. but I have seen, public schools, where the level of education is exceptional and above other countries (top 3 – estimated), including the rumored to be superior asian education systems. I am fortunate enough to have my children in that school. the student population is very diverse (about 25% white, 25% black, 20% latino and the rest asian) and most of their learning curriculum is two to three years ahead of the california standard. it runs from grade five to twelve and the high school sophomore class is already starting college level math, english and science. fifth grade is working on traditional seventh grade curriculum. i know this is anecdotal and this school is the exception and not the rule but if we spent the time and money investing in our future by better educating our kids what a country we would be! we would see fantastic result one decade, the minute the first batch hit the job market! look out world! It is a STEM academy, a public school STEM academy and we need more of them.

    2. Maybe, but in the last 30 years the education system has been under attack from religious groups that refuse to allow their children to be taught the facts of reality. It’s gotten so much worse.

    3. @Dean Young Couldn’t agree more.. People keep saying it’s up to parents to teach their kids but how can they when the education they received was equally bad you know? When you go to school overseas and learn civics, about credit, avoid investing and writing checks but none of that one here you can see why America is 26th in education..

    4. @D Craig except thats not accurate since its liberal elitists who attended supposedly “top tier” universities which indoctrinated them with all sorts of anti-american lies such as “systemic racism” & the “1619” project! things which are meant to make white liberals feel virtuous as they repeat it & keep blacks feeling victimized and reliant on the government for help since theyre told society’s stacked against them!

    1. Shows one the ineptitude of parenting huh? When it falls to the responsibility of the parents to govern the child’s learning they are found wanting.

  3. Judging by everything we’ve seen from anti-maskers to anti-vaxxers to Qanon to right-wing terrorists who think violent sedition is a political right, the damage has already been done. This might be the perfect opportunity to put FACTS, SCIENCE, and LEARNING back into schools. Put money back into public education NOT into religious fiction.

  4. Never forget that Al Franken resigned from the Senate and it..was not good enough. Compare that to the New Coup Club.

    1. @Roger Out Biden plagiarized Frakens act when he said “poor children are just as bright and just as talented as white children.”

    2. @TRAITOR JOE’S trump plagiarised Stalin when he called the free press “the enemy of the people”.
He also stole a quote from Mussolini..
      See a pattern yet?

    3. @TRAITOR JOE’S I’d honestly rather have someone plagiarise someone else then just get in front of a microphone and start blurting out word salads and repeating nonsense..
      “Person, woman, man, camera, TV..”

    1. With this situation, one BIG issue I’ve noticed is the complete lack of attention and self responsibility of the students. The other BIG issue is the parents unwillingness to be the check and balance for their children and their progress or lack there of. For the record, I’m not an educator I’m a parent. I’ve had to recognize my own role and responsibility through all this as well.

    2. @Dawn H thank you for accepting that right and responsibility.
      Some parents are like you.
Some parents and students are exhibiting extreme learned helpless just to avoid responsibility.
And for the record, I’m a parent of three so I am experiencing this from both sides.

    3. @Dawn H 100% agree. Our education system has been broken for some time now. We homeschool our kids since 2014 and trust me when I say it is not easy. I am a teacher (to all subjects) ,admins, lunch lady, and much more.

  5. Thank you that you see the long term affects. This will effect the poor and minority communities the mostly.

  6. Thank you for your show!! Insightful, straight forward, guests with pertinent information! Please keep up the great work!

  7. I’m homeschooling my kids and can see the learning disabilities they have and the deflection because of distraction and lack of focus…….I’m struggling to keep my children at the average level for their grade

  8. Bring Civics Back. Teach our children how special and honorable our government was meant to be.
Celebrate and reward intellect. Make education IMPORTANT!!!

  9. As a retired college professor and a substitute teacher (Until the virus hit), I watched a steady decline in reading and writing skills. I also saw the interference of lawyers who tried to stop the dismissal of students who performed inadequately.
