Trudeau slams non-essential trips abroad, says travellers won’t qualify for some COVID-19 programs

Speaking to Canadians, Prime Minister Trudeau says the CSRB is not intended for travellers who are quarantining when they return from holiday. He says Canadians who travelled abroad for non-essential reasons during the holidays will not be receiving sickness benefits.

  1. Sounds like the message is more for the general public than the politicians who travelled.
    Why would politicians need access to cerb? Do they not get a fixed salary?
