I hear people talking about endless lockdowns, but it doesn’t seem like a full on lockdown has occurred in your country with everyone doing it for at least three months. That would be the only thing that could actually slow this spread.

@Constituent A Melbourne Australia had a second wave that threatened to get out of control, went into full on lockdown for 112 days, now months later 58 days without a single case. Yes lockdowns, if done properly, work. Of course difference here is unemployed and people whose jobs had been furloughed were getting continued and reasonable financial support from the govt. that prevents some of the desperation in having to go out and work.
The world back in the day of Spanish flu did a better job than in 2020😷🙄

“…possible January surge of Covid-19…” motivate us, the people of America, to redouble our efforts to rapidly find out at any given moment, including even while On-Line, who among us are unwittingly contagious (i.e. pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic) in order to #ConvinceItForward for them to call their doctor and to self-quarantine per CDC guidelines in hopes of stopping this pandemic instead of having more #MourningInAmerica even for the worse-case scenario of the #UKvariant strain(s) mutations and others like the #Cluster5Mink mutations rendering current vaccines no longer effective.
The mask wearing alone won’t do it.
You need a full country Lockdown to delay the virus and make space in the hospitals.
