@Shayan As a matter of genuine intellectual curiosity. Why didn’t we lock down the planet when my grandmother died of the flu in 2010? Why didn’t we all have to wear masks then? What is the specific death rate that calls for a planetary lockdown?

It clearly says “Parliament or the legislature of a province may expressly declare in an Act of Parliament or of the legislature, as the case may be, that the Act or a provision thereof shall operate notwithstanding a provision included in section 2 or sections 7 to 15 of this charter.”

She’s talking like what she had was some rare disease that is life altering and prohibits you from living your life. I’ve had asthma since I was 2 years old, I’ve been in hospital many times in very similar situations to this. I never went home and told everyone to stop celebrating Christmas, and that I was going to need a long time to recover. Buckle the f up. I’m tired of these snowflakes.
How the hell do you know what she’s going through how is a virus the same as asthma? What is wrong with you? Does asthma have the chance of dying? I think if you really think its the same, get the virus.
