It’s nice to state goals. But I don’t see the government plowing tons of money into research and development or building nuclear plants.
Billions of private investment are pouring into renewably powered projects on the prairies.
Because we already have the necessary nuclear production to act as a buffer for the next 100 years of growth.
Sounds like a Nightmare. It’s 2030. I have no privacy, No FREEDOM, I own nothing, and couldn’t be Happier. YOU THINK I’M JOKING?
yep..this is all part of it
If that’s the case lets just all walk around nude smoking dope. lol
The last dance of the Devil.
He speaks with a forked tongue
Are you going to elaborate? Or do you actually believe that destroying our planet is the way to the future.
How can anyone believe this garbage.
Exactly- complete garbage.
do you believe the earth is flat?
@BeetleVase why would he think that? Is that different than thinking the universe is flat? Many scientists accept that we are living in a 2d hologram. Why don’t you accept that?
nobody does
yo these comments wack
What does hiphop have anything to do with this
These comments are necessary.
Is this like that balanced budget they pretended was going to happen?
Climates balance themselves
I got a laugh out of that. But I doubt it very much. This is their ideology. It’s more like a work camp if you don’t agree with them thing.
fantasy…
when the liberals start riding bikes i will too hahaha
Remember itβs bikes for thee… π
All they have to do is completely destroy the economy.
And they are almost there, years ahead of target!
Renewables are actually cheaper over the length of investment. This will be beneficial to the economy, just not Alberta. If Alberta took the time and expert’s advice over the last 40 years saying to diversify their economic portfolio.
@Lucas Bowman This is absolutely the wrong way to go about it.
Lol
Defund the Government!
πππ
What in the world ?!
Yet there is ZERO investment in nuclear energy
Uneconomic. All utilities are investing and building renewables; no utility is building new nuclear.
Most provinces already have enough nuclear power generation plants that will be needed for the buffer between renewables for the next 100 years of growth.
I just want to know what is this magic fuel or energy that doesn’t come from natural resources such as even mining minerals for batteries that solar and wind power need to store the energy from their sources of green energy
Reverse pumped hydro comes pretty close recharged with off peak wind powered electricity like on windy winter nights.
@Aaron Vallejo ok but what about vehicles and air travel and transportation of goods and farming
The Great Regret. The parasite class has no interest in the health of the planet. No property or privacy for you. And you’ll be happy.
Itβs our job to use the fossil fuel deposits to terraform the planet so carbon is expelled for life to grow more lusciously.
We are all carbon based life forms, trees etc. We require carbon to live and we change oxygen into carbon. Carbon is life !!
Not quite sure how agriculture, construction, shipping/trucking could ever accomplish this. Sounds like a half smoked pipe dream to me.
Airlines will be using passenger peddle power and hamsters to warm up your in flight coffee.
@Peter Kane Lol. Gonna have to wind up the fed ex trucks at every stop too.
