Even the Christmas Tree has had enough of 2020.
What a waste!!
One tree cut down is a waste? Not to mention they can use it for lumber afterwards.
It’s a bizarre and wasteful tradition
Such a low life. if that is wasteful then so are you.
Ok immigrant
Wow that tree is probably hundreds of years old, now ruined.
Yeah, and we are human beings, with tradition and culture, does that offend you?
@LOVE IN THE SUN Yes. When culture and tradition harm others or the environment they should change. Tradition change over time through generations, the Christmas tree is one that should change in the times of climate change.
@S P nope, not going to happen. I’m guessing you are someone who hasn’t spent time out in the wild, seen the vast expanse that is nature? I’m not saying everyone needs to cut down the nearest tree, because there are entire tree farms that make the vast majority of their income at Christams. The vast, vast majority of Christmas trees are farmed for Christmas. So your arguement doesn’t hold water.
@LOVE IN THE SUN and I’m guessing you’re someone who has been to busy chugging the kool-aid of tradition you haven’t adequately researched or thought critically about the environmental impacts tree farming has and the benefits of proper forest management in places we grow them could have. Christmas as a whole has become a destructive, I agree it probably won’t change for a while to come but I think history will eventually see how we celebrate the holiday today as a gross overdecadent and self absorbant hedonistic ritual.
WE Scandal please
i think it’s fitting and now that they have cut it down they should be forced to use it.
How satirical !!!
I just hope Rockefeller is doing well.
