@If you don’t vote for Biden, YOU AIN’T BIDEN I find it extremely sad to hear groups like Latino’s, even any American, thinking that Joe Biden is a Socialist or wants Socialism, when most don’t even understand what Socialism is and how the US is made up. It’s true we have Socialism programs, but we are also a Capitalism country. Here’s what you should know. First STOP listening to people that are telling you that Joe Biden is for Socialism, he’s NOT. Second, Socialism is and has been in the US for hundreds of years, you just don’t understand what it is. So let’s look at the definition of Socialism: A political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. Now that you know the definition, let’s look at the programs we have. We are made up of two characteristics Capitalism and Socialism. The difference between the USA and countries like Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, etc. is the leadership. The United States is not a country lead by dictatorship, we are a country of democracy. Our leadership has terms limits, they are not considered or can be allowed to operate the US as a kingdom, so we have NO kings. Very few Americans know or understand that many American institutions are by their very function are socialist, because we have been convinced that we are a capitalist democracy and opposite of socialist thoughts. That has its connection of communism to socialism. The far-right always say to their audience that socialist ideas are communist ideas and that segment of America agrees. They have bought that argument hook, line, and sinker. They give little thought to what is happening in today’s world. They don’t seem to realize most countries are morphing towards a socialist-capitalist economic system, whether a socialist state or democratic state. Here’s some of the programs that fit into the definition of Socialism. I’ve provided the links as well so you can read all of the information. There are other websites available, you just need to google the questions and they will show the answers. Are our schools considered as a Socialism program? The answer is YES. The United States democratic system includes characteristics of capitalism as well as socialism. Perhaps the most socialistic endeavor of the US is its K-12 public school system; in fact, US public schools are necessary for democracy to thrive and to create an educated and well-informed populace. However, capitalism and socialism are strange bedfellows. The soft underbelly of capitalism – greed – has become a problematic influence for K-12 schools. No, I refer to the real science as done by the scientific community. It’s a world wide activity. It involves tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of people. It arrives at conclusions based on the best available evidence known to human kind. In Indiana, lots of schools are closing as well. Plus some hospitals are actually at full capacity where patients are being turned away. It’s horrendous how Trump has handled this virus. A literal crime against humanity.
