It isn’t about being 6 feet away. It’s about avoiding contaminated air. If an infected person coughs 12 feet away, and you walk into the cloud, you are at risk.
In my city, small restaurants make people eat outside right beside the sidewalk. Diners sit maskless with their heads two feet below people walking by, maskless, because they’re outside. The droplets fall right into their faces.
Winter is worse because we’re driven indoors, but also because UV rays are less effective at killing the virus. It’s why you can’t get a tan in the wintertime.
How many people unconsciously touch their eyes after touching surfaces in public? There are more habits we can pick up besides masks and distance.
If we take fewer trips to the grocery, any virus that might be on your items have time to “die” in your cabinets before you touch them again. Also, it thins the crowds at the store.
We have to stop abiding the technicalities without thinking in terms of practicalities. It’s not so much about how far away you are from people, but how far away your eyes, nose and mouth are from the germs.
What happened to common decency?

8-Failure to get candidates elected to state local level of governments, that is were one gets future candidates. not from the senate or house.. they have very few governors, period.
9-Now they think they can win GA. senate race.. heck they could not win it the first time. The face of the Dem. Party for the senate needs to change. He and Nancy both, needs to be replaced because they blew this election. All their talk of taking over the senate… what a joke! They need better candidate… Joe is great and a decent human being… something that Trump will never be…but he could not get his message across clearly… The Democrats let TRUMP TAG THEM FIRST WITH NAMES THAT THEY FAILED TO RESPOND TO…and clarify with the voters. They are always playing DEFENSE…do not know how to play OFFENSE.
11. We need to additional parties in this Nation..so the voters will not have to choose between Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum..and have choices. Rank elections would be even better than what going on, current.

All those programs about child care, rebuild roads and bridges… etc…NONE ever HAPPENED because Mitch said no.
