@Tim Popik Trump hamstringed the post office, he claimed victory on election night when the votes weren’t counted, he continues to lie and spread misinformation. Republicans did everything they could in multiple states to make it harder to vote. In TX where I live there are 1.3 million people in our county. We had one drop off box because our republican governor limited them to one per county. And I live in a suburb about 18 miles from downtown, but it would take a MINIMUM of an hour and a half to drive straight there and back (longer if there was a line to drop it off).
Furthermore, there is an identification code on the outside envelope of a mailed-in ballot. So no one can vote in person and then still have their mail-in ballot counted. So how does the mail in fraud work? Even if you got someone else’s ballot, if they show up in person because they never got it, then the mailed in vote is discarded.
Just because it seems complicated to you, doesn’t mean it doesn’t work and that it’s easy to cheat. We’ve been having elections for almost 250 years. There has been plenty of thought put onto the rules to make it extremely difficult to cheat.
@Soft Breezy Day I live in Texas, we went early voting in person. We never received our mail in ballots and I have no idea where our mail in ballots went to or to whom. We stood in a line for an hour or so – just like we did in every other election. Mail in fraud is where you steal mail and fill it in yourself. Where you send mail out to dead people and people that have moved away and fill it in with your preferred candidate. The dead and people that moved away are not known to show up to vote. There are many people who do not vote either. Talking of spreading lies and misinformation – you are doing that – mass mail out blanket balloting is not something we have ever done before, and it was spur of the moment so not much thought could have gone into it. Mass mail out balloting is nothing like the absentee ballots we used when I worked overseas, that you had to fill out an application for in order to get a mail in ballot.
They’ve got one suit to stop counting, they’ve got another to keep counting.
It’s like having two lawyers, one saying you’re innocent, the other saying you’re guilty.
