James Ryan looks Blake was involved in a domestic dispute, he had a warrant out of sexual assault, looks like he had a knife, sounds like officers told him to drop the knife, he refused REPEATEDLY to follow officer’s commands, and he tried to get in the car and was reaching towards the floor (where a knife was found), the cops could not let him get in a car with a potential hostage situation, potentially had a gun or could run them over! When he reached for the floor the cops thought he was reaching for a gun.

Now, when it comes to racism within the justice system. I don’t know what else to tell you except, when you dig into data, facts are facts and the facts are that even officers of color view black and latino people as inherently more dangerous for no other reason but the color of their skin. It’s also a fact that police departments routinely don’t report police brutality complaints or complaints involving racial profiling. People always seem to think that racism equals the KKK and that’s it. This has always been the case so people who look like me just stop reporting the abuse and dehumanization after awhile. Police unions have made it virtually impossible to hold officers to account for their abusive behavior.
Just because cops also heavily discriminate on socio-economic status as well, doesn’t make your argument valid. Nor does it explain why you would be pro-cop instead of fighting for actual justice. Poor/middle class wypipo have more in common with us then they do with the ruling class and their law enforcers. Yet for some reason y’all love to engage in the same bigotry as your masters when push come to shove.

I would expect just exactly the opposite statistic if the police was “hunting and killing” black people as presented by media. Try to find something about violent crime rate and then you’ll understand why policemen are more afraid and cautious when dealing with certain groups. If you have a group that statistically commits violent crime in let’s say for instance 8/10 cases and a group that commits a violent crime in 4/10 cases than it is quite obvious who is a policeman going to be more afraid of.

Blake wasn’t running away, he was walking and not very quickly, to his car. Two police officers at his heels. Nope they waited till he opned the car door, took him by the shirt and shot him 8 times. That’s really overdoing it. They could have restrained him in any other way, maybe use a taser (not very nice either, but less deadly), or hit him with something (not as nice either, but still less deadly). They could have used pepper spray, should he have turned around, handcuffed him, restrain him (preferebly without sitting on his neck, two police officers on the lower back should do the job), literally anything else, but shoot him, as if he had pulled out a huge gun.
Yeah, I understand wanting revenge for sexual crimes, I also advocate for reforms in this case, because they have too low a prison sentence. But hanging and shooting them without a process, just because you want it, is a dangerous thought. It gives everyone the right to do the same to you, should they see fit, should it be a criminal, or a political context. Noones stopping you from advocating for change in the legal system though.

@Travis Cue I used to be on the left as well until about 2 years ago I started questioning the media and I felt a bit angry when I discovered I had been lied to by everyone around me. I started really noticing all of these little messages hidden in shows, movies, ads, school curriculum etc. It’s disgusting how deeply ingrained leftism really is. It’s in everything. Even my favorite podcasts I could no longer listen to. I identified as a centrist for almost a year until I discovered more lies and ridiculous biases and then I was listening to the Michael Knowles podcast and he said over and over “If you stand in the middle of the road, then you’re gonna get hit” That’s when I really decided to take a stand for my beliefs and for my country. Being in the center is like trying to appease both sides but the left does not accept that. For now, in our public life, I am forced in to being apart of The Silenced Majority since my viewpoint could ruin or even end my life. Sorry for ranting.
