@Focux The tax cut caused a $2trillion deficit in the federal budget and nobody but the top executives saw any benefit from it. No more jobs were made from it, nobody got raises below the C level. They just pocketed the extra profits and bought back a bunch of shares or offered dividends to their investors. The actual rank and file didn’t benefit from it at all. They lost out by having a government with less funding to help with the actual running of the country. Think how much could be done with that lost money. Something as simple as investing it into the literally crumbling infrastructure of roads and bridges around the nation. Or maybe investing it in an actual nationalised health care system where EVERYONE is covered. Instead the rich got richer and the poor got shafted. Again.

On the George Floyd issue, there was new video surfaced showing extremely erratic behavior, resisting arrest, as well as coroner reports of drugs being the cause of death not the kneeling. Should he have died? No. But I’m not going to get broken up over it and I think it’s blows away any legitimacy these protests had.
