    1. @Liezel Leveriza They probably would have mentioned if anyone apart of the wedding group was hurt or not and they didn’t mention anything of the sort.

  1. This was CRAZY!!!! I’m surprised the bride didn’t scream!!! I definitely would have. Let’s all pray for Lebanon 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

    1. Hard to scream after the air has been forced out of your lungs by the overpressure. It’s like getting kicked in the chest.

    2. @Addison Zombie *Quote from an article* “It was intended to be folded hands of an individual, and not a high five,” Keith Broni, a senior emoji researcher at the website Emojipedia

    1. Photographer was using a gimbal, which allows for super smooth photography. That’s why, when he turned, with his camera, to see where the blast had come from (they were quite far from it), we see the montage swing smoothly away. The whole thing is eerie.

    2. @Shed Life Indeed. The moment that struck me was watching her dress, as the force of the explosion tore through the City . Eerie indeed. Truly a sad day for everyone affected by this tragedy .

    3. The way everything just switches to a beautiful wedding day to a disastrous apocalyptic-like scene from a movie baffles me.

  2. Terrible day for them all ;o( . I am glad they were ok physically . I feel very sad for Lebanon .

  3. To see the groom spin around so quickly towards the initial sound while the bride’s hand quivers is so heart wrenching. The initial fear (0:12) before the blast storm (0:14).

    1. @John Roush you can clearly hear it at 0:13. and allahu akbar isn’t a slur, plenty of muslims say it during times of distress.

    1. Precisely…super realistic movie scene that ppl could find bit over the top and..and that was real life.Unreal.

  4. This honestly makes me cry, I am so she is physically ok. However mentally, I hope she is able to recover from this traumatic experience.

  5. They were shooting during what photographers call the “golden hour” when daylight is redder and softer than when the sun is higher in the sky. It’s in this courtyard area surrounded on all four sides by tall buildings that they got the least amount of harsh shadows and, unbeknownst to them, protective shielding from the blast of the explosion.

  6. The bride is a doctor. She helped and assisted in recovery efforts then later returned to her wedding.
