At this point the names of the bases have moved beyond those generals. The bases have their own history. Their names should be beyond this idoicy. This “woke” liberal movement needs to grow up. There are much more important things to worry with.

Almost all the medals given in the Civil War were given for mundanes acts of heroism. Starting in World War 1 the medals were given to people for true heroic deeds.

I agree with Mr Carville. There are plenty of real American hero’s who weren’t traitors and terrorists. Ft. Hood in Texas should be renamed after a Texas hero I suggest Ft. Murphy for Audie Murphy a real American hero.
