The police union is too big, too powerful and owns BOTH parties. They’re the only union in the nation who hasn’t lost power under Republican administrations. The cop unions have high paid lawyers who make it very, very hard to discipline cops, and almost impossible to reform the cops.
I think this says it all about police attitude:
John Evans, president of the local police union, told the newspaper: “Our position is these officers were simply following orders from Deputy Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia to clear the square.
“It doesn’t specify clear the square of men, 50 and under or 15 to 40. They were simply doing their job. I don’t know how much contact was made. He did slip in my estimation. He fell backwards.”

Lets be honest. As a person of color (darker than many blacks) who grew up in poverty, and surround by violence, drugs and destruction…what we all want…avoid anything to do with it. I got out of my bad community, and left it to the poor and ignorant, and the cops, who have to deal with it. What they do…I really DO NOT CARE. I don’t break laws, because I want to avoid the police. These guys are paranoid little boys with the right to gun you down, if you move incorrectly. And the home-boys in my childhood neighborhood are infinitely worse. SO…F**k all that. I now live in an upscale neighborhood, where it’s quiet, and I personally have ZERO issues. (So, how did Floyd run into the police again?) smh.

The slight change is because people have cameras. If they didn’t none of those officers would have been charge. Its camera. Keep yours handy.
Google “Police beating settlement” and “Police Killing settlement”…. millions of taxpayer dollars paid out in “no fault” settlements that protect police from accountability…
Hopefully more people will pay attention to this injustice from now on … great revelation, shining example of unbiased great reporting…

Thank goodness we have phones with cameras. I was watching Cold Case Files and Forensic Files and those cops that killed in those cases were caught because of camers and trace evidence. Most are cowards and commit suicide.

No cameras, no Justice. It takes video the cops cant control to even hope for a conviction. Without video by civilians Floyd, Aubery, Grant, and so many others never had a hope for Justice.
59 people killed by cops in Canada in 100 years!!!! That’s Tuesday in the US. Better live in Iraq.
