Mr โDominate the battle spaceโ is now changing his tune, but he was caught on audio along with Trump. Heโs just as bad as Trump and his buddy Pompeo. Esper once again shows that he has no credibility.
No credibility, BUT he stood up against Trumps action. He can’t have much credibility when joining this team after all you had, but he did stand up here and say very, very important words. Trump is checking out his options for when he’ll be elected out (all the “voter fraud and rigged election”-phrasing is forthshadowing what he will do in November if it’s close, and his calling for his militia in Minnesota was another wakeup call). The military option at least got a lot harder now.
Yet (being from germany and seeing history repeat 100% until now) this is not over. Hitler did all the things Trump did, call the press the enemy of the people, MGGA – make Germany great again – creating enemys (socialists, Obama, Mexico, China, younameit), creating how own militia, holding rallys. He created a propaganda channel. Hitler did all that, yet he did not have the full support from the government. Then his troops burnt down the government building, they blamed the Socialists – and the putting in jail began. Then murdering. Then war. Then holocaust.
You are precisely on the road and Trump is weighing all his options. He’s absolutely going for this. “Antifa” are his German socialists. And his militia is already burning down places in disguise, “antifa_us” is calling for violence from twitter – then twitter reveals it’s a rightwing fake. They’re going for it. And it is so important that Esper spoke up. And Mattis. He might have no credibility, but he is doing the right thing here.
