Not sure how militarized they are. This happens basically every time because the riots get way too out of control.
All the gear they’re using is riot gear. And so far I haven’t seen riot police overstep their boundaries and start terrorizing citizens. They let them protest the entire day and there’s a limit to how much you can do. Police and firefighters cannot be working around the clock cleaning up the fires and the mess that happens.

light & sound we’re referencing two different events. The tweet I sent was regarding arson committed last night in the north side. The suspicious autozone dude was a few nights ago. As for Autozone guy, no concrete proof he was a cop, but he certainly seemed out of place and suspicious.
