For all we know it could have either been more personal (since they were found to have worked together before) or a crime of incidence meaning he’d have done it to anyone that day just not knowing what was going on in his mind that day, or the cop either somehow didn’t hear the detainee or he did but ignored him indicating an intent to kill. Do you know how many encounters the police has with civillians a year? Theres like 50 million encounters, and so many people wind up dying by the police but in small amount compared to this many police encounters, somewhere around 1% end in fatality. Who knows how many incidents go under the radar that end in similar fashion? I heard of one case particularly involving a white individual who died by the hands of the police, ever heard of the David Shaver case, father of two kids and had a wife at home, white man. He was done dirty by the police too and highly presumed to be dangerous by the overly cautious and overzealous police.

Moments later, he ordered Shaver to push himself “up to a kneeling position.” While complying with the order to kneel, Shaver uncrossed his legs and Langley shouted that Shaver needed to keep his legs crossed. Cases aren’t exactly similar but point is everyone can be done dirty by the police, i bet some cases are racially motivated as there is some bad cops, and they should not have their jobs, but also it doesn’t happen anywhere near as much as the media wants to portray it does. It is also the media that makes you feel like you have to jump to those conclusions.
