I reside as an expat in an Asian country, a developing nation, everyone is wearing a mask, 50% are wearing gloves, there are entry QR phone codes for store entry and exit that log your health when transiting my city, Corvid-19 virus numbers are low, admittedly social etiquette is not like western countries but if Thailand can do it, how can every single individual in the USA not be ashamed of the social stigma the rest of the world feels US citizens have perpetrated on themselves?
I agree all but one thing: You are an immigrant (even an emigrant) in an Asian country. Not an expat.
Why do Westerners who move to work in other countries become an expat and others become an immigrant if they move to a Western country?

Me too and Harris is right to call this relief package deeply flawed, especially since Schumer didn’t get serious with McConnell and since we can’t seem to get actual relief to the most dire needed, Congress shouldn’t waste time passing anymore legislation until we get a more civilized leader on the right who can set things right.

Any business I don’t care who you are you still have to make sure your customers and your employees be safe entering the building please use your head the business have to be held accountable because they can provide the safety for the workers so the business should be able to get sued if they can provide proper protection for the workers and customers.

If the government messes up everything, why do we need more of it?
I would submit that most all businesses, large and small, are essential.
It’s just a question of, to whom they are essential.
To those who own small businesses like hair salons and pizza parlors, their business is their livelihood. Sounds fairly essential to me.
These are the same shops and stores that suffered so during the crash of 2008.
We are NOT expendable!
