In Australia, all nursing homes have closed their doors to all visitors, contractors and deliveries with deliveries being dropped off at the front door and staff take them inside and because of this action, we only have one death and that was caused by a staff member who was positive to the virus. Also, all staff members, including managers have their temperature checked before walking inside and gloves and masks are available to all staff and this is what needs to happen, otherwise the virus just takes over the way it is taking over nursing homes in the US

There are 501K infected, 18.6K dead in US April 10, mostly in NY. The curve is flattening already.

Not sure where you are but near our facility as well. Its TERRIBLE. People often overlook patients in nursing home or assisted living facilities.
My Lord, that’s my worst nightmare. I currently work as a housekeeper at a nursing home. We have active cases but thankfully they’re half of what they were. Granted, we only had a handful of cases compared to the ones in this piece. We’re already shorthanded though, I’m cleaning 2 to 3 times the rooms I usually do a day..
