Sanders is the BEST candidate against Trump. Trump can’t attack his record, because Bernie has no scandals. And if it comes down to a roast battle, Sanders will Bern Trump to the ground.

Bernie has a massive bandwagon rolling. He is charismatic, sincere, and the “radical” policies he proposes are (a) what every other advanced country has had for decades, and (b) what polls show that the people want.
The right will try to red-bait him, which will play well to their base, but it would be very hard to persuade anyone not totally brainwashed that he is some kind of communist dictator. The Cold War has been over for 30 years, so the old slogans don’t work any more.
Most laughable is when they pretend that Russia is a communist country. At the Helsinki summit, Putin was asked if he wanted Trump to win in 2016. His exact reply, not properly translated, was “Yes, I wanted him to win” (Da, ya khotel chto by on vyigral). So I guess that makes Trump a communist. He certainly wants to be a dictator. In fact, he is a dictator now that he knows that he can get away with anything.
