I am a nurse and the reason there are isolation wards is to ‘isolate’, I get why people want to return home, but think the risk is too high. Sad this is happening at all.

Hawaii is also suspicious. Its a tourist destination with heavy traffic from Asia and mainland US. Its a HUB.
And yet Hawaii does not yet have a single case of the virus.
We had a Japanese tourist that came here with the virus and was hospitalized when he returned home to Japan and tested positive for the virus… there must be at least a dozen people that came into contact with that man. Even his wife just got sick with Corona Virus. Hawai’i’s economy relies on tourism so it makes me think something is up. Our own government officials are saying business as usual since no one is venturing to China Town or other restaurants. We also have Rat Lung Worm that’s effecting our produce, but I’m sure they’re down playing that one as well.
@Real Paranormal Oahu I heard someone ask if the Chinese government released it on purpose because the people were protesting the government. If they did it worked they are in their homes not on the streets.
@mary johnson I would say that could’ve been possible if it weren’t for the fact that they were just celebrating their two week long New Year festival which makes a lot of money… never know, it may have been the sacrifice the government was willing to take.
What about the other passengers on board plane that carry infecteds back to US? And will the plane be sanitized? Those that are tested not infected been released to their homes? Seems 14 days of quarantine is no guarantee of. 100% cured.

Really tough situation. I’m from India and my wedding in April in Wuhan with my Chinese wife will most probably be cancelled. We’re sad but most important thing is that people stay safe.

☣️ Japan does not have enough virus test kits for the passengers. WHY HASN’T OUR MILITARY DELIVERED THE TEST KITS? TO JAPAN?
☣️ We need to produce test kits and train biology, nursing, and pre-med students to evaluate them if we want to control the spread stateside. Offer scholarships and student loan forgiveness for qualified trainees.
☣️Everyone on every plane needs a properly fitted N95 or P100 mask and training on how to remove it safely. People can get that at. CDC.gov.
Until our popultion is vaccinated — and that could take 12-18 months — we are in the prliminary stages of the worst public health crisis in a century in the US.
