It is the fact that you report on it NON STOP as if there is an imminent election. The US Campaigning/election process needs a modern overhaul…this is laughable.
Agree should be 3-6 months campaign, fixed publicly funded. That’s it. People can donate to a general election fund split among top 3-5 candidates.
T BZ As a European looking in, I have been taking a close interest in the Trump presidency. Mainly because of his unusual behaviour and lack of professionalism for the head of a world superpower. His election was questionable, how he’s managed to stay in office for this long is surprising but moreover, the impeachment result is alarming. Oh dear America, what have you become? The impeachment trial was an opportunity for the senate to redeem themselves, but I guess their own jobs are more important than their constituents. I hate to say it, but having seen so much corruption, lying, cover-ups and reckless attitudes by Republicans over the last couple of weeks, I’m confident all necessary action will be taken to ensure Trump is re-elected.

The mainstream media in some way determines the election
They cover establishment candidates and ignore the non-establishment ones. if they do cover the non-establishment ones it’s almost always negative coverage. They try to sway the election in the favor of the establishment democrats.
