Remember that Moscow Mitch isn’t running the thing, Justice Roberts of the SCOTUS is, and he’s thinking a little, at least, about his legacy. I believe this is why the Supreme Court hasn’t yet taken up a case that might overturn Roe. Roberts is the swing vote and I don’t think he wants the end of Roe to be his legacy. Neither does he want a circus and a bunch of clowns in this Senate impeachment vote to be what people remember him for. So we’ll have to see. Of course the Senate is going to acquit their Glorious Leader–we’ve known that all along. However, some of their constituents may charge them a price for sticking with this crook.
@Geoff Gyro I agree with your assessment. Democrats want Republican to go on record with their votes. Hoping that voters in their district are outraged. This is not about impeaching the president, this is about winning back the Senate. I hate Pelosi but can say she makes very calculated moves, unlike our president.
Trump’s sick GOP supporters are now claiming Trump is a corruption crusader. Considering Trump’s track record with his foundation, so-called university, and not paying contractors, it could not be much more ridiculous. Trump did not mention the word corruption on either of his calls to Zelenski and Ukraine is not even on the top ten of corrupt countries.
Now in an okay economy the federal deficit is skyrocketing to over 1.1 trillion this year and rising. This is greed and corruption in control.

We could sponsor tribunals to discuss the information the GOP is suppressing. Trump is a Twitter Patriot. Also Have mock impeachment trials allover the country. Let the people who wish to defend Trump defend him with documented facts rather than screaming: “He did nothing wrong!” He admitted to seeking foreign help to be elected. The Constitution says that is wrong. Trump says the Constitution is wrong. He should never have placed his hand on a Bible and swore to defend the Constitution as President. He knew he was lying. Now the world knows and he picks yet another fight. He can’t stop lying but like Charlie Sheen a few years back, Trump is not “winning” no matter what he says.
