@You don’t get to be offended by science! the executive branch has the constitution right to invoke executive privilege and always has. That’s what Trump did and now it’s iiib the court being deliberated. The question is why doesn’t the Democrats wait for the courts ruling? Then they have the possibility of hearing all the witnesses and if not they can do their impeachment anyway but at least the correct process was followed with no rush to judgment.
Representative Jordan told us why, he said they are in the clock to impeach Trump before the end of the year for the election. That’s what this is all about anyway.

First Republicans said it was unfair that the hearings would be private. Now that they’re public, Republicans are saying it’s unjust to hold public impeachment hearings. Trump even said that he would participate in the hearings, but when he was granted subpoenas, he suddenly can’t come. What a joke the Republican party is.
@Noah Oh Yes, having a fair hearing with the other party is a joke… Having Trump at his hearing is also too much to ask? Any person with a brain wouldn’t attend to their own witch hunt. They want him to prove them right because they have nothing but opinions and feelings.
@koagz if Trump was innocent, then he would come because there would be no stakes. Since he’s guilty of impeachable offenses (NO, he’s NOT officially guilty), he is afraid his turgid tongue will slip a few unconscious confessions here and there. No one _wants_ to attend their own “with hunt”, but it’s unheard of to _not_ ever show up. No one _wants_ to go to school, but it’s unheard of to _not_ ever show up. You get what I mean?
