The Great Owl personally, I do not think corporations should be able to contribute, and I’m fully aware Mitch gets out of state money. He shouldn’t be. These so called representatives would never jeopardize the flow of money they have coming in by legislating it away. In an ideal world the states would fix these problems for them, but the money is so overwhelming that none of these people are actually willing to do anything about it.

To get rid of Mitch will take a lot of money and a principled grassroots candidate. I genuinely believe that electing Amy McGrath to replace McConnell would be a huge blow to the corporate oligarchy that current campaign finance rules allow.
I would insist that a part of that fix be the cordoning off of localities for political funding. But that is not where we are today. There’s not enough money in Kentucky to compete with the corps and special interests that are backing Mitch McConnell.
