This violent perpetrator (not victim) needs to be placed in a secure facility where he will never be allowed to harm anyone again.

Why can we not get medical help for mental illness in this country? These people are adults that have no medical insurance and can’t get help. I know because I’m the mother of an adult son with schizophrenia. He is currently incarcerated for stalking and was beat up last week in jail because he’s clearly “off”. He’s not a criminal and never hurt anyone.
Imagine that guy with any type of gun the results would surely be way worse but some people will say why not ban baseball bats but try to enter in the White House with a baseball bat and I’m pretty sure they will stop you at the entrance.
