    1. I wouldn’t go as far as to condemn the entire Party for one person behavior, it’s like your saying all Jamaican’s are scammers when its the action of few. What I would say it’s the reaction to the action by the administration and if not treated as such, well they are deem fit to be called a disgrace but your comment is vague and way to broad spectrum.

  1. There was a time when journalist use to do their jobs unbiased and were deeply respected.k

  2. Big up to all the teachers home and abroad .Enjoy your special day today ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ˜‚โค

  3. If this is the way the
PNP is going to behave shame and I will not vote ! Who is going behave professionally shame on the P N P and also the J L P SHAME ! ! !

  4. Politics must cut out of our country because we are hurting our own ,people it is disgraceful to disrespect one another

    1. What’s your suggestion to replace politics and government? Law of the jungle, every man, woman and child for themselves? Pure anarchy? We have too much of that now.

  5. Then if PNP started to act like that you can imagine if they go in government ๐Ÿ˜ญ

    1. @ Sheldon Green. Let’s be real and unbiased here, neither party is squeaky clean. Personally i think they are both disgusting.

    2. @Ann Gore yes I agree with you ๐Ÿ’ฏ but you can’t looking votes and wanting to be government and dealing with the same people them you going to represent ๐Ÿคท,so I really think this is a early sign of how you would deal with people if you in power

  6. If the journalist do their jobs professionally and not politically then people will respect them but because they canโ€™t be trusted especially nation wide then people wonโ€™t trust them

    1. I suspect that you are hinting at political bias and/or dishonesty among media houses. I am not able to corroborate or deny that this exists but there are CIVIL and LEGAL ways of going about any such concerns. Making excuses for violence and the violence itself is already a major problem in our land we love. Let’s be better.

  7. This type of behavior against journalists especially against the female is totally unacceptable. I’m sick to my stomach and mad to hear about this๐Ÿ˜ค

  8. Suh is who sent those Jamaican people to risk them life in another country? Dem people yah really nuh easy. A who mek dem hungry and cold? When they were paying all that money to do bandooly migration, they shud of thought about all that. If I can find all that money to go seek asylum, I donโ€™t need to run away.

  9. Madam Teacher President, 4 down to 1 may be addition by subtract, from the Government’s perspective. It is so sad, Governments like to boast about teachers, but don’t want to pay them living wages.

  10. A teacher will always be a teacher /educator!
I’m not aware of any country that pay teachers the salary they deserve! How about $173:00 monthly in the 70s?
Inspite of that, it did not lower my dignity!!
I encourage teachers to celebrate our day or week of recognition regardless of not receiving what we’re entitled to!!!
NO ONE WHO IS EDUCATED GETS SAME WITHOUT A TEACHER/EDUCATOR!! BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU DO!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

    1. Come to Asia, they pay teachers damn good over here. ๐Ÿซ  As a teacher I not coming back to Jamaica. Imagine being able to pay off SLB in one year and still can live good.

    2. @Mahalia Edwardsย
My love, I’m happy for you! Give thanks!!
I’m in America and am grateful!
“Little is much, when God is in it!!

  11. Why are Jamaicans trying to come to America through Mexico? Things are hard in Jamaica but we’re much better than a lot of other countries. We don’t need to risk our lives to do this!

  12. Very important to note that Jamaica has fallen quite far down the ratings as it regards to press freedom. We are slowly descending into authoritarianism. VOTE UIC

  13. Regarding bus parks, they are too far away from the stores to carry things to get your taxi. Maybe the towns need a little jitney service that runs through the town for free to transport you from along the main streets to the bus park.

  14. I wonder who remembers the treatment of a journalist by the JLP activist posing as a security guard at the Homestead Primary School. Our memories are just too short
