So they want to arrest the men who stopped the guy who just killed people π π³π
ya arrest them no vigilante…arrest the jordan neely killer also arrest evry 1
@mike donavan Triggered! π
No charges should be brought on those attempting to restrain the driver from escaping. They did the right thing
No jury would convict them
They still have to be charged per the law but theyβll be dropped
If restraining means beating him up while he is roaming around then I guess you’re right
@uhohhhsteven What law says that?
They better not charge anyone of those men that were trying to hold that murderer if they want to be able to police those streets with the backing of the community.
imma charge YOU π
charge me too!!
No good deed goes unpunished.
If a drunk man ran over 8ppl around me and the group of ppl. knowing he did it intentionally..we’d prob damn near kill him. You just ran over somebody’s child, wife or husband ANDD Have the nerve to yell obscenities outside of the car??! Oh you’re finna get it! π
yes sir, iβm with you brother.
Ikr……what a joke….he’s still breathing ??????
Unbelievable
You donβt know he was drunk, or that it was intentional
They said in the video that he was under the influence, then after he ran over those people he started yelling obscenities at them. Play it back you’ll hear it in there
@Jar Jar Sphinx Hey, could be both.
Let me figure this out: Guy in SUV just killed 8 people at bus stop, got out his SUV and started shouting obscenities at the survivors. The survives try to restrain him and prevent him from leaving and the cops want to file assault charges against the survivors? Speechless.
None of the 8 were American citizens
β@Brian Jones What does that matter?
β@Stoner Dragon Shouldn’t have been here
Investigating assault charges, because Range Rover dude is the kind of Spanish speaking person Texas wants to _encourage._
π₯π
Assault charges? Are you kidding? He got EXACTLY what he deserves
He got a lot less than he deserved.
@mile_high_topher Amen!
America so backwards. All i am learning is to NOT help after tragedies like this because i will be charged. Same thing is happening in NYC. SMH
Thatβs for a court to decide, not a lynch mob
What do we think the chances are that the charges/punishment for those that tried to contain the killer are going to be harsher, then for the killer himself. Remember this is Texas.
Lynching is illegal
When people who do the right thing get charges???? What is this country
So Taters “Good guy with a gun theory” falls apart if that’s the case.
Not America anymore π’
Murikkka!
In my opinion, that was no accident
It was a Hate crime
Absolutely, they’re being real careful about the facts.
Opposed to a βloveβ crime? ππ
Iβm hearing Hispanic male.
Manβs heart has become desperately wicked. Lord have mercy ππΎ
NOT FOR AMERICA…
Become? It always has been. Do they not teach history in school anymore?
What βLord?β
β@elns walis it was a time when more people are under the influence of God more people respected God faith in Jesus Christ.
Many in America today have turned their backs on God and are under the influence of the devil that’s why there’s all this chaos criminality lawlessness and murder
Wait just a minute here, assault charges for the people that detained this lunatic? Let me pick my jaw up off the floor.
Yeah, a few of them might have stepped over the line a bit, but I suspect that my reaction to something like that might be a bit more violent than maybe it should have been.
@Luminary Harris that’s not how martial law works.
@Luminary Harris
That was a fairly insane, fascist rant.
A group of several angry men was able to “restrain” a killer without actually killing him or putting him in a deadly chokehold go figure.
I know right? Maybe that’s why the cops want to charge them.
You read my mind πππ. They are talking about bringing charges against these ones. While some people feel the guy in New York was justified choking that man to death.
Didn’t you hear? Self-defense is vigilantism now. YOU asked for this. YOU got what you wanted.
@GreenEyedLady Hopefully they just want to review the footage with the view to making it a compulsory watching training video for their officers, but I think I’m probably being way too optimistic there π
I hope they either dont get charged or the charges are dismissed. It should be taken into consideration that they had just seen 8 people die and that the driver was trying to flee the scene.
They deserve medals and be in laced on top of list of enrolling for visas.
To try and charge anyone trying to stop the suspect is outlandish , Texas Sucks so bad π‘πππ
so ex marine kills homeless guy on a subway even though he did not attack anyone gets a hero treatment meanwhile a group of people trying to restrain a guy who ran over and killed a different group of people are potentially being looked at for assault charges. do this country have any laws anymore or is it a free for all. what a disgrace
Lol what. Sounds like you are apart of the problem. US Marine guy did the right thing. So did the people restraining this driver.
The ex-Marine has #TheComplexionForTheProtection, thus his immediate release. ππ½
@DogC503 well I guess no one in NY should be charged for murder as long they claim self defense, but that wasnβt even the case everyone that were in that same wagon ignored him and walk away alive except the one who confronted the homeless guy π
Only in America do they threaten charges against the men trying to stop him from leavingβ¦
No assault charges are needed for the men that handled and restrained the driver.
How sad. I feel so badly for these poor people.
