Honestly,
Jamaica should have a wage freeze,fare freeze,devaluation freeze,car importation freeze,non essential food freeze,lazyness freeze,crime freeze,foreign non essential food freeze focussing on eat what you grow or produce plus other related freezes.
The dollar could then be allowed to hold its value while building up F/E reserves.A win win situation for all concerned as you focus on productivity and production for the domestic and export market.
Jamaica needs to put in one more 8 hr shift and where possible offer duty and tax fee status for all such businesses.Presently we average 2 months of hours per year that is a prescription for disaster and a myriad of crimes while building a lucrative crime industry.Remember idle dog worry sheep.Can you imagine if we could get from 2-6 months worth of productive hours,imagine 9 months hours.We would have to import labour by the thousands.
Have we begun to think or we can’t get further than a ceremonial republican President.
Wake up and think Jamaica King is no problem let’s use the status to build some real preferential trade arrangements.Right now we wasting money on Republicanism idea as at the end Jamaica will still be poor and the 10th most illiterate country in the Caribbean.
