  1. This guy Damion Crawford don’t know how powerful an impact he made on me by saying an opposition minster is doing a good job. He is one individual that I always thought did not know his head from his foot. I still don’t agree with his political philosophy. But at least now I am willing to listen to what he has to say no matter how painful I find it. Other politicians need to take note. Success of Jamaica has to take precedent no matter who is doing the job. I see growth in this man understanding of things. This is why I say a man or women should not be allowed to seek political leadership until 40 years of age

    1. Bartlett has always being doing a good job at tourism that no other minister or spokesperson can deny. What I want to see is that the workers in the industry are paid adequately and the money made is circulated in Jamaica and not most of it been sent back to the overseas investors.

  2. How can we get this man to be prime minister? I would be happy to vote again if he is a candidate for the post. Fair, logical and intelligent. Plus, I have never gotten the ‘greedy or corrupt politician’ vibes from him.

    1. Also a note to the PNP , if you are interested in the vote so ‘ flip floppers’ ( non- partisan voters) like myself, please consider putting persons such as Sir Crawford at the helm of your party.

  3. One question Mr. Crawford, Have you ascertained the real income from tourism that is retained in the Jamaican Economy??. Most hotels are foreign owned and information is that profits are routinely repatriated. Competition is fierce so these hotels would not be in business if they were unprofitable to the owners. Check their Balance Sheets. In addition it has been ascertained that the workforce ends up being subsidized by us. Please try not to talk off the top of your head and present authentic verifiable information. Real retained earnings please and not the expenditure the industry generates. On the face of it the only benefit seems to be transportation and produce to a miniscule extent.

The departure of Ms. Hannah from frequent economic commentary and analysis has certainly created a void
