Donald Trump’s rape trial will begin next week as scheduled after a federal judge on Monday rejected his lawyer's request for a one-month delay, saying the former president cannot make public statements to promote pretrial publicity and then claim it's prejudicial to him and reason to delay a trial.

Judge Lewis A. Kaplan in Manhattan said the civil trial on claims against Trump by a longtime columnist, E. Jean Carroll, will begin as scheduled on April 25. Trump denies the rape happened or that he ever knew Carroll.

  1. Apparently it was very traumatizing if she still can feel the remnants 40 years later!! Don’t judge her pain 🤨 if anything judge the crime!!!!!!

    1. It’s so traumatizing that she says she still shops there and loves the store and rape is sexy. He just had to have her, she was that attractive.

  2. “I think most people think of rape as being sexy. They think of the fantasies.” – Jean Carroll during a Anderson Cooper interview

    1. Followed by: explaining that she instead thinks of her alleged attack as a “fight.” Context matters

    2. @No Name Rape usually would include some sort of fight, yes context matters. Most, don’t think rape is sexy.

    3. @No Name Right and the context that she still loves the store and shops there. No lie, she said this.

  3. Is it assault or rape.
Rape is penetration. So he did that in a dressing room? Not sure how that’s possible. But we need to know what he did?
Defamed? Assaulted? Raped? Those words should not be thrown around loosely. I’m not saying he didn’t rape her. But raping someone in a dressing room would be difficult. For him to penetrate her. Remove his clothes and her clothes. Then get inside her ?!?!?!
If he didn’t rape her. Then that word should be dropped and it would be that he assaulted her. Which is very bad. But it’s not rape.

    1. This was a high-end department store. Other videos about the trial show the room. It’s an actual decent sized room, not the size of the dressing rooms at Kohls.

    2. @Little Missy I’m NOT standing up for him at all. HES A TOTAL FOOL. I just want the facts. It’s confusing when different terms are used. Assault is not necessarily rape. But the word is used. I could assault my brother. With a punch to the ear. And that’s not rape. On the cover of a New York magazine it read “attacked”. Well attacked is different than assault and not rape. I feel the same term should be used always by the media. Assault does not have to be rape. But it could be. However rape is rape…. And we know what that’s means. Attack could be with an elastic band. It’s meaningless and is misleading on the cover of the magazine. He could of attacked her with a foot stool???

  4. When asked about Carroll’s story Trump replied “not my type” and “she’s ugly” Her lawyer claims that is defamation. Carrol needs a better lawyer.
This is a replay of Stormy Daniels. She sued defamation when Trump said the same sort of thing about Stormy
She lost both the suit and the appeal and now owes Trump more than half a million for his court costs.

    1. As far as i can tell the the case is mainly about damage suffered after a alleged sexsual assault/rape and the defamation part is in regard to a claim from his side that her claim of being raped by him was motivated by the potential for book sales and publicity. And a claim that
his accuser (as always seems to be case) is lying about him for political reasons. Sounds to me it’s Trump that’s in need of a better laywer

    2. @Canadian Beef
Its a civil case, the burden of evidence is not anywhere as high as a criminal case. She basically only have to convince the jury that its more likely than not that the claimed events took place.
Civil cases ultimately boils down the to the courts judgement of the two parts trust worthiness, credibility and documentation.
Documention wise she seems to have the upper hand by some margin so far and as far as trustworthiness, credibility and character goes…well, Trump is not exactly a high threshold to overcome in that regard.

    1. He never admitted that. Geez can’t you look anything up firsthand for once in your life? Read the exact quote. He said his opinion of what some women will be like around wealthy men which is 100 percent true. If I let you do something, that is consent. I’ll let the doctor take blood or my dentist fill my tooth.

    2. @Justpassingthrough
Large man, small woman. She didn’t ask him to do anything. And being forced isn’t the same as “letting”. I’ve been following Trump since 1988. SSDD. My research isn’t only watching FOX

  5. She was like “you know what, I’m going to keep his DNA for more than 20 years, then I’ll sue him..”😂

God these people will try ANYTHING to get some lime light. I hope it backfires on her BIGTIME

  6. Will be good to find out what ethnicity she supposedly had sex with. How did her DNA sample test out? European? Asian? Semetic? Black? Will be good to find out what she says about the sample and what the results were

  7. She needs to be medical examined. Dementia, alzheimer, bipolar disorder. At her age any of this diseases is posible.
