Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed a bill that would ban most abortions in the state after six weeks, according to a release from the governor’s office late Thursday night.

@Nancy Marin I didnt say no. I said it wasnt as be a deal as they say it was. They make it sound like thousands of women were dying each year. Thats just not the case. Im saying that with modern medicine and proper sex behaviors, abortions would not be needed (even tho they never were).

@Nancy Marintheir parents could always take responsibility for their babies or give them up for adoption to parents who will love, want, and will cherish them.
These families should file lawsuits against the state, if these women are injured because they can’t get the care they need. And if they don’t want the child let the state foot the bill until we get a sane Supreme Court.

It’s hard to believe how hypocritical these republicans are when it comes to saying we must protect the child’s life. Where is the care when the child is born into poverty and no opportunity – they are no where to be seen. They are just a bunch of liars who use a cause for their own political will.

But I’m not in denial , I’m a women that made mistakes , first time at 16 , a stupid kid . And then years later I got caught up again , a mistake . We need to have a choice if we needed it . I never said is was a good choice but a choice nevertheless , thankfully my husband and I made the choice to terminate. I struggled with it believe me . I still do . You will never eliminate abortion, you will only eliminate a safe medically supervised abortion. So women that learn they are carrying a nonviable baby will be forced to carry, give birth and watch their child die shortly afterwards. That is heartbreaking and SICK.

All I know as a woman living in todays day and age I don’t want any politician to decide on behalf of entire woman race what choice they want to make. Let women/girls decide depending on their circumstances what they want to do. Everyone knows it might be a difficult decision, but sometimes you need to do it and there is no one who should be taking that decision other then the woman/girl herself. So leave women alone Desantis. You have no right to take away women’s right to choose. He is taking USA backwards
