They weren’t being disruptive they got their microphone shut off, and the Republicans were not letting them speak.
You need to wait until the proper time to speak. They were disruptive.
They have every right to protest peacefully. They are not being violent.
I have the right to protest in my office exercise my 1A and then promptly get fired.
@Yosetime Bro, people have peed on chairs and not been kicked out. There was an admitted child molester/former highschool coach that wasn’t kicked out. It is absolutely bonkers..
@Yosetime I didn’t know the first amendment said you can’t protest during a legislative session
So in Tennessee, 2nd amendment gun rights are supported, and 1st amendment rights are not?
@renenowicki you forgot to mention all the police who happily escorted citizens through the capital building that day…. Like the Shawman who wasn’t violent at all yet is has been held as a political prisoner…. Can’t have it both ways….
I seek for friendship with you, which was why i wrote you. I think it’s appropriate to begin by knowing each other
Well, this dude was clearly against the 2nd amendment enough to interrupt the meeting.
A black man getting kicked out for freedom of speech in Tennessee. Who wudda thunk.
2 did so sad
How bout Jill Biden LSU debacle
The Republicans have just created a super star. We will see this young man again.
At the unemployment office.
Yeah standing in the unemployment line HaHaHaHaHa
LMAO
no, we dont want reps that behave like that
I hope the Tennessee voters will get rid of the Republican haters.
@kay armstrong He’s a community organizer and he won’t be silenced. That’s not militant that’s empowerment.
@Melinda Unknown ???? 2 decades?????
Haha Yes, Tennessee is super liberal
He might have lost his job, but he won the most important thing…… The People!
@GR Wonder Wonderful Given the opportunity, I’d be glad to. I feel no differently about her antics, either.
But of course, the partisan blinders assume I must be some sort of MTG supporter, just because I’m critical of the antics of these legislators?
Indeed!
@Latysha L the side piece enters the chat
@Larry Pound Umm they did face it and took the killer out, you do not think they didn’t know what weaponry they were dealing with so your point is lost!
LMAO
Disgraceful. Cancelling elected representatives for exercising their 1st amendment right to protest the murder of children. Speechless
@Duncan Chestnut YES!!
You don’t have the right to impede the meetings.
Yet people like Marjorie Taylor and Lauren can disrupt the president’s State of the Union with no consequences. Somebody please make it make sense!
apples to oranges comparison. jones did more than shouting out one sentence…CLEARLY
@Haute Head who thehell gaf? He’s a private citizen. Or did you miss that fact?
A person who was democratically elected by the people of Tennessee was expelled for being Loud and disruptive all because he wanted to raise awareness of kid’s dying to out of control gun violence.
The democracy is under attack. Folks, we are living in dangerous times.
@Morgan Stevens For telling the truth
@kay armstrong
Yet Trumpitty made the same fist everytime he left any building in New York. And that has been used as a white power symbol too, mind you.
It’s a universal gesture of strength!
@kay armstrong black power fist? Lol how obtuse can one be
So pathetic that republicans chooses guns over children. These 3 members have my upmost respect and thoughts and prayers for victims of gun violence
So you’re against abortion?
If an elected official is to be removed from office, it should be done by the people who voted, not the legislators.
He mention they didn’t expel a child molester or a member that peed in the sea t of another member. This is beyond disgusting.
Can’t expel traitors, but can expel someone who is protesting the gun problem.
@WashySo you’re against abortion?
VOTE
With a news conference waiting for them outdoors? Seems like a performance w prearranged cameras in place.
The constituents who just lost and will lose their representation should NOT pay their state taxes. No representation; No taxation!
Sweet. Then they too should get arrested for tax evasion. Makes everything better.
Hasnt helped DC.
@James Mathison Should get arrested for taking evasion? What does that mean?
We’re getting him back. He will be re-elected to the same exact seat!
@James Mathison State and Federal tax are two different things..
Once again the GOP wants to get rid of those who don’t agree with them. We need more people like Jones and the 2 others.
That crazy maniac needs to learn to control himself or herself.
Oh, so they can show their asses and disrupt legal proceedings! There is a right way and wrong and leading an insurrection is not the way!
The GOP is absolutely vile.
GOP (Government of Putin)
I am so proud of the Tennessee 3 and all these young people.

We. Are. Not. A. Democracy.
It’s astounding that the will of the people can be subverted so easily.
