Reed drank so much alcohol he went crazy, and the police arrested him. He tried to grab the steering wheel of the police car causing a traffic accident. I don’t see him as a good example of a person who was a political prisoner. Did he deserve 9 years for that no anyone would say that is excessive punishment. What happened to him could have happened anyone in a foreign country and it does happen to lot of Americans who the media doesn’t ever talk about. Why Americans are still in Russia is shocking to me anyone who goes there at this point should just expect this to happen.
