@Dylan Harper : Zhukov is still a good example though. After all, he was the last Russian general to win a legitimate battle for Russia. Everything since has been war crimes and illegitimate invasions and occupations. So, Zhukov comes out as the last Russian general whom any military scholar in the free world could credit as being worth listening to. He’s not exactly, “clean,” himself, but he was personally brave, sacrificed a lot for his own troops, and he knew how to fight and win against tough odds. Even Stalin balked at quietly killing him, because he was SO popular as a war hero in Russia. And that’s saying something. So, he’s, “old, but not obsolete,” as Arny once put it. I wrote about the infighting between the Wagner Group & the RF MOD in this channels comment sections half a year ago. Those Fulcrums are modernized, therefore can drop Western Ordnance, especially the two seaters that might have a FLIR on them, BAE & Rockwell did the modernizations after MIG did some upgrades. They can definitely drop JDAMS, there is already footage of Ukrainian Fulcrums dropping JDAMS, and they already used HARMs. Israel was supposed to modernize them 3 years ago, I don’t know if they finished in time. ❤ GOD Bless Everyone
That’s interesting, though you almost lost me with all those acronyms until I realised you were talking about weapon systems. My question then is, where do you see it going from here? My guess is that Putin is using Wagner as, “expendable,” while he works on training some better units in his actual army. He lost most of his best units in the failed invasion and in short on veterans. But this way he must see it as buying time to retrain his recruits, while Wagner, if actually reduced to just a few survivors, becomes less of an overt threat to Putin himself? Do you think there’s any truth to that?
