@Douglas Reagan That quote does not make any sense nor does it address the question I ask. My point was that if someone ignores the truth, that means they are not taking it serious, therefor would not be offended by it. If they were offended by it, they would it turn take it serious and not ignore it.

One of my earliest frustrations as a child was the annoying teacher who seemingly enjoyed having the power to control my bladder, who could make me squirm in my seat and make me beg for his ‘favor’ and who was the single judge and jury, the absolute authority with the sole power to ‘allow’ me to leave the classroom, to access the hallway, visit the toilet and how much time I ‘was given’ to relieve myself.
To this day I detest any and all authority figures who, even in the slightest way, seemingly seek to control, command, manipulate or influence me, especially people who ‘permit themselves the liberty’ of telling me what I need, what to think or feel, what to believe as true or false or what I should like or hate. I do not function well in a command structure where I am being ‘ordered’ instead of being ‘asked’.
Both Trump and DeSantis have similar personality traits that I find very disagreeable. They crave and lust to have ‘absolute power’ over others and to enforce their will upon people whilst shamelessly treading upon their wishes, needs or even opinion. Both men feel ‘entitled ‘ and ‘superior’ to others. They not only seek but actually ‘need’ to ‘’dominate’ their social environment and ‘demand’ to be acknowledged as a ‘boss’ given special powers to ‘dictate’ and ‘rule’ others. Special men who may jest to believe they are chosen by God to lead the free world but secretly are willing to destroy anyone who refuses to cater, surrender or bow to their egomaniacal demands. Men who demand others to abide by the laws but imagine themselves to be untouchables and beyond reproach. Men who both have a strong tendency to retaliate against anyone who refuses to ‘serve their needs’ or questions their authority. Some people know both men close enough to predict that once bestowed with unlimited power these men will become ruthless tyrants.
I hope that republicans will actually remember their core values of being Republicans and realize that not Trump nor DeSantis are actual conservatives because they are not! Both men are outspoken fascists hoping to seize power and become the supreme leader of America waving the scepter of uncontrolled unlimited power. Despots and enlightened teachers who will get to decide what the people need to know, think, feel, do and all of that.
My only hope is that Republicans had a similar teacher like mine and hated the fact that this one person had all the power and could make you squirm and beg just to take a p*ss.
If so even MAGA ultras may come to realize that perhaps having a dictator is not a positive thing!
Hopefully there will be a more moderate conservative presidential candidate who understands that the party needs to break away from fascism. Because fascism is not the same as freedom. Ask any kid who got treaded upon and peed their pants because the teacher decided what was their ‘urgent need’ ️ ❤ GOD Bless Everyone

@MaskedMarvyl the thing is , the Bible ( word of God, Jesus). is not contradictory and really makes so much more sense when a person gets a strings concordance with the Greek and Hebrew meanings of words in which place. Sometimes I have to follow the definitions to the end until I reach that knowing that is within me. Each word has many meanings (like well) and who the speaker is speaking to and when to get the meaning. And even then the meaning deepens as you grow with God. One thing I found in an old King James Version was in Genesis when he talks about the trees in the garden. There was the tree of knowledge and the tree of’ the knowledge. The word of is left out in later versions. But it is real important because God taught Adam everything and he was the tree of’ the knowledge. Oh, I forgot God has many names for us like earth, trees, etc. I don’t want to push or confuse. Where ever we are with God is ok bc that’s where he has us. We are all different.
If you don’t believe in any religion or life after death then so be it, but the majority of the world does. Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc… Why are you so angry with people of faith????
@Rhonda Myers I think some just don’t want to believe in any faith because they ask for Powerball numbers or a relative to not die and sometimes God’s answer is NO! So they feel justified in saying something isn’t true because they’ve never experienced it. I usually simply pass them over. I am a Christian! That’s enough for me.

Jake Tapper always does a great job interviewing folks. He doesn’t ask softball questions or ambush folks with the how ya like me now gotcha BS. He just takes the conversation in an interesting direction and never lets his viewers down.

I voted for Trump, twice. But I’m hoping that DeSantis is the Republican Party nominee for President of the United States in the 2024 election. Sure, if Trump is the Republican Party’s Presidential nominee, I’ll vote for Trump, but I will not vote for Trump if he runs as a third party candidate against DeSantis as the Republican Party’s nominee. In that case, DeSantis will get my vote.
