This is good practice – stamp out the purchase of driver’s licence. Life is definitely at risk. Those who can’t read, don’t get driver’s licence.
Speed is what kills. Need speed traps not just illegal license. I’ve never seen a speeding ticket given.
Too much corruption
This has been happening for decades in Jamaica. It is usually easy to spot the examiners who are involved in the corrupt act which cause the lives of many ,as they always live the high life.
Can you buy ur license from mega mart? Too late minister! You should focus on the poor driving skills of taxis and coasters!
It’s past time for the government to get tough and crack down on this practice!!

I bet all of them will deny buying votes yet in internal elections they can tell you who buy votes.

I don’t know how he’s going to pull this off but my prayers are with him. If he does succeed, there will be no end to the respect I have for him as minister. Low level corruption is as bad a disease as murder for our country.

One friend told me she don’t even have to take her car to get checked out for road fitness..
Someone came to her house to give her the new document.
And her son did not even have to take the road test to get his drivers license..
Sad .

Long overdue
It is shocking to hear man a road (Mr. Shaw) talking about buying licence can he back up that argument with facts. Utterances like those should never comes out of the mouth of the minister. Shame on you minister Shaw.
Buying of licences has nothing to do with the carnage on the roads it is speeding,reckless overtaking, the unnecessary use of high beam lights and HYPE.
The ones who are selling the licenses are to be held accountable! Fire, find & jail them !!!
