Why was it euthanized?!?!
@digiprez77 the same could be said about humans. Hubris.
Cane toads have been a disaster in Australia, devastating goanna, dingo, and other native species
@DarkSide Politics humans found their ways across continents on their own. Cane toads were placed somewhere they don’t live and don’t belong. Both are destructive but only one is invasive. Unless you consider humans are part of panspermia, then yes. We may be considered invasive in that circumstance
@Seth Bieber u
Because toads are ugly and they deserve to be irradicated. I’m totally on team frog though, they have those little smiley faces.
Only in Australia
Well it’s obvious to me that this cane toad it could be possible that evolution is taking a roll with the species in Australia. Perhaps with so many dangerous predators in Australia perhaps the species is evolving into a gigantic species to meet the demands of its environment and possibly hunt new types of prey. Or possibly just gigantism.
It’s hotter and drier in Australia. Cane toads don’t have natural predators cause as soon as you put them in your mouth they secrete a toxin that makes you hallucinate! If you don’t have to metabolism to keep warm then you can use your metabolism to grow❤
Why did you kill him and put him in a damn museum! Shame on all involved!!!!
invasive species
They killed it because it is a non indigenous species that will kill the Australia wildlife. Australia’s are very protective of their unique habitat.
Don’t believe everything you’re toad.
I’ll never frogette it!
keep working on that summoning jutsu. you’re almost there!
Cute! Put a bow on it and some rich lady can carry it in her clutch around Beverly Hills
Anyone ever had to dissect frogs in school? Imagine if they gave us these 😭
This thing would look good on a rotisserie
They can get bigger!
RIP.
Quite the specimen
How big are the flies it’s been eating??
Dude’s just chillin’ and living his best life. Leave him be.
All largest specimen must be killed and stuffed by a taxidermist.. don’t you know. Because we humans are the smartest species on earth. 😇
Yeah I’m thinking we probably should have seen this coming….
Poison secreted on skin. A smaller one made our dog sick
I lived in Zimbabwe. We had GIANT green frogs with yellow bellies. The locals always claimed that they had TEETH…..😵
