well, russia ordered stockpiles moved out of HIMARS range several months ago; but, that is 100km away from the frontline. So, they have to hand load and unload trucks, and drive them to the frontline. If you separate the guns from the ammunition by 100 km, yep, you are going have a hard time sustaining your rate of fire. oddly, that ammunition behind the frontline blows-up just fine by itself. 😆 🤣 😂

About Bahkmut… A correspondence between several leaders of the Mozart group and a journalist, published in the Daily Telegraph it shows us the complete picture of a Ukrainian disaster. The Americans said that the losses of the Ukrainians exceed 70%, and this is no Russian exaggeration. This is what they saw every day while they stayed in that area. Estimate, in numbers by the Americans, is about 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers lost so far in Bahkmut..In order to keep the tragedy there hidden, the Kiev regime did not officially give any accreditation to any journalist to have war correspondence. But they had no way to force the Americans not to speak. Today, TOS – A1 appeared again on the scene, apparently in the front area of Liman.. You can’t imagine the pleasure of some Ukrainian soldiers who tanned with their clothes on…. Other good news will come from the Kupyansk – Liman front .. In the following days a summary of today’s battles will be posted and as the first reports show, the Ukrainians have significant losses there as well… Will be this a small reward for the terror that the Ukrainians inflict every day on the civilians in the cities? We don’t know the clear answer yet, but there are signs this is not what the Russians mean when they say those criminals will not escape unpunished….

20,000 rounds per day is 6,000,000 in 10 months. That’s got to have eaten into the old Soviet-era ammunition stockpile. Not only that, 30-year old fuses have a high failure rate, possibly as high as 70%. All artillery barrels have a limited lifetime and need to be re-lined after firing a certain number of shells, which is a problem for the Russians as (I have been told) the 2014 sanctions included the kind of specialist steel alloys needed to construct artillery barrels and liners. If the barrel isn’t re-lined then accuracy gradually degrades, leading to a vicious circle of needing more shells to hit a given target, which increases barrel wear – rinse and repeat. Plus the likelihood of a catastrophic barrel or breech failure increases, which will likely kill all the gunners. The Ukrainians have not only been HIMARSing Russian ammunition dumps (over 50 last time I checked), they’ve been capturing them when the Russians retreat.

Ukrainian has said a couple of months ago that the Nato barrels were wearing out. The Russians have just kept on firing, I wonder if at last the Russians are realising their barrels are worn out, especially as there have been many Russian soldier’s complaining about that their own artillery keeps hitting them. I think it is a mixture of bad communication plus worn barrels but hay, I am no expert, I only fired 7.62mm rounds and have no experience of anything bigger, thank goodness.
Yes, Ukraine is rotating barrels and have them relined, I think in Poland mostly. It is not unlikely this becomes achoke point for russia considering how they use their artillery, not for precision strikes on target but to cover areas.
Maybe we will just give this country up to the Chinese while they watch and sit idle buying up our land????

If your guns are accurate at first then slightly less so after a few months you will notice it. If you’re guns are inaccurate at first and marginally more inaccurate after a few months then maybe harder to see the difference. Perhaps that’s the difference between western and “Soviet” artillery?

I plead guilty to driving on roadways laned for traffic and have sent a check in the amount of $155.10 to pay my fine and make restitution.
Driving on roadways laned for traffic definition: A vehicle shall be driven as nearly as practicable entirely within a single lane and shall not be moved from such lane until the driver has first ascertained that such movement can be made with safety.
Please note that it was not my intent to commit this traffic violation, and upon attempting to merge onto 476 south with ample clearance, I was cut off by a van which forced me into the shoulder lane. At this point, I didn’t have many good options, as I noticed in my rear-view mirror, oncoming traffic was up against the van’s rear. In attempting to compensate by accelerating ahead to merge, the driver in the van sped up again to prevent me from merging, which led to me veering too far into the left lane when I was finally able to get into traffic. Subsequently, steering myself back into the right lane I started to tail out into the shoulder, and then accidentally spun out causing a car accident.
My only concern after the accident was the other driver’s safety and well-being. Racing over to Timothy in his jeep, I asked, “Are you okay?” He said, “I think so, but I don’t know.” I told him, “Paramedics would be here shortly.” In speaking with the paramedics, I was glad to see that Timothy was responding okay, was able to get himself up out of his jeep without assistance and walk himself onto the stretcher. I’m praying Timothy is okay and that he makes a full recovery.
I spoke with Bob from New Jersey, who originally contacted 911, and who observed the entire accident. He stated that, “He saw the guy in the van cut me off, forcing me into the shoulder lane,” saying, “I saw what you saw,” which resulted in me eventually tailing out after attempting to merge ahead. I asked Bob if I could have permission to use his name when speaking with police and he granted me permission to do so. In speaking with state police officer Michael Lennox, and describing what had happened, I explained that I spoke with Bob from New Jersey who had originally contacted 911 and requested that officer Michael Lennox contact him to corroborate what had happened.
