I just read the investigation of the U.S. Senate committee and they found archives the Wuhan Virology Lab had not completely deleted that proved a catastrophic accident happened at the Wuhan Virology Lab in mid November 2019–the exact time and location where the pandemic started. (The seafood market has long been ruled out and the bats that carry the similar coronaviruses live 1500km to the south.) There is also ample evidence and many reliable sources of the Wuhan lab doing dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab that could create a pandemic, documented safety lapses and cover up and disinformation. There may not be a smoking gun yet but there’s a big body of evidence.
I wonder how much of the Chinese people’s anger right now is an understanding that the Xi dictatorship is not only responsible for the Zero Covid policy, but for the Covid pandemic. Even if you do not want to believe the dangerous gain-of-pandemic-function coronavirus experiments carried out at the Wuhan Virology lab with safety issues which suffered a catastrophic accident at the beginning of the pandemic that started in Wuhan might be a lab leak…Then there’s still the fact the Xi regime took actions that allowed the Wuhan epidemic to become a pandemic, such as prohibiting travel from Wuhan within China but ensuring hundreds of thousands of exposed Wuhan residents traveled around the world. If not for such measures, China’s triumph in defeating the outbreak in Wuhan would have put an end to it. Chinese people are now suffering so much because the pandemic came back to China–and Xi will not admit his mistake. He thought he could keep the viruses all over the world but outside of China. And he thought he could keep human beings locked up
